Fancied Une Artise but left once the drift started, especially with it being from the Henderson yard.

Can't be taking Twice Over or Jet Away at the prices, both should win but this looks a bit short for Twice Over, will be interesting to see if all his ability remains at 7. Jet Away's race is going to be in very soft conditions, and neither him or Black Spirit have form on it.

Just gonna be another day of monitoring the Newmarket results.

Agree with Wrotham Heath, action looked all out when he made his well backed debut on good ground, but sluiced home next time out with a bit of cut.

Best betting event of the year starts on Friday (The Greyhound Derby) Six rounds endure to see your dog snatch it on the line......Good Old Kinda Ready icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

Anyway my 3 against the field to see if I can repeat 2009 are......

Bubbly Pheonix (20/1) Green as grass but electric pace who has been trialling well at Wimbledon. Perhaps slightly under priced because he is owned by the Champagne Club whose syndicate members will be on at bigger prices but looks a possible winner if he improves as he should (If he makes the final he will have run more races in a month than he has in the rest of his career)

Head It On Haysey (40/1) Could do with improving his trapping but with a clear run finishes as well as anything. Not with a fashionable kennel but done enough in recent weeks to make him a factor. He is my first choice pick.

and an outsider to go a long way

Westmead Shaw (200/1) Seems to have improved his trapping in recent weeks and being out of the same line as the great Westmead Hawk will be staying on when others have had enough. Always a couple of unfancied dogs make the final (anyone mention Kinda Ready???) and once you are there who knows at the price is well worth a few quid to find out.

Going to the final for the first time ever and can not wait but will be even better if one of the three dogs above make it there too.

punchestown looks like being hard work for punters.

small fields, awful priced favourites due to the lack of opposition, but the ground will be bloody awful too, especially considering some of these horses have been on the go since last october.

thinking about getting tickets for a few days of the chester may meeting,
anyone been? if so, what are the open course and dee enclosure areas like? decent view and drink/bet facilities or not?

Good meeting to go to. Decent views from the grandstand at this meeting, as the crowd is usually half the number of the mid-summer saturday fixtures.

cheers mate.

chelsea look like theyre gonna be severely depleted for the CL final.

profit could be made regardless of who wins the other semi by having similar sized bets on both madrid and munich in the outright markets, take the best odds and as long as chelsea don't lift the trophy then its a guaranteed profit. so it wouldnt matter who won tomorrow, as long as they beat chelsea. with the players chelsea have missing, it'll be a big ask for them.
