Looking forward to the new season, I don't see us walking away with the league like some of our supporters seem to - I'd argue that our first XI is probably the strongest (on paper) in the league, but I do worry about the lack of depth in a few positions, and the age of our squad meaning injuries are likely and this squad depth may have to be tested.

I think Paul McLaren will be the key man, I can't think of a classier player in the division - if he finds form Peter Thorne could have a field day on the back of his service.

Indeed, he looks capable and can play right across the backline. Also, McCall has put Michael Boulding on the bench for tomorrow. He says its a risk due to him not playing any games, but he IS fit.

If so, its tremendous news to have him fit from the off!
