| I'm still on FM2011, but in the 2018/2019 season with Bristol City. Been there since the start of the game, and been in the Premiership for the majority2010/2011

Premier League2014/2015

Premier League2017/2018
Premier League: 1st
FA Cup: Winners (vs Tottenham)
League Cup: 4th round (lost to Manchester United)
Europa League: Quarter finals (lost to Porto)
Very happy with how everything has gone, currently 34 games into the 2018/2019 season, I'm 1st in the league needing one more win to claim the league title. Won the League Cup against Nottingham Forest and went out of the FA Cup to Manchester United. I lost the charity shield to United as well. I am in the semi finals of the Champions league, set to play Atletico Madrid.
My team at the minute:
Formation (2-4-1-3):
GK: Kevin Bell (regen)
CB: Marco Rossi
CB: Chris Smalling
RWB: Serge Aurier/Christian Ribeiro

| First season done, finished 10th which I was pretty pleased about, but my board has just sold Jack Hobbs who would have become my captain this season for 3million, when I turned down 4million in January, and there's no money in the kitty to strengthen over summer either.

| Played a season as Everton, and finished 3rd. Lost the Title on the last day by drawing with Norwich. Even so, was very pleased with the new boys (Drenthe, Stracqualursi and Vellios was fantastic) and have agreed a deal to bring Raul in for next season.
Liking the game - especially the new Team Talk system and Tactic Creator. Think the Interviews could have been edited though.
Ahh well - will be hooked for a few months anyway.

| Just started on the full game with Wigan. Signed Federico Macheda on loan and some Israeli called Cohen (not the one at Bolton).
Beat Sunderland with a late goal 1 0 and then came from 1 down to beat Blackburn 4 2 after I gave them a rollocking.

| Ended up walking the league and won the Champions League on penalties against Mille.
For next season I've signed Hulk on a free from Porto (now 32) and Ibrahim Affelay on a free too. Looking to win the league again and retain the CL. Also England manager so qualifying for the Euro's and hopefully win that (as unlikely as it is).

| Does it ever happen where it is actually impossible to guide your team from X division to Champions League winners? Does the game have difficulty levels?

No difficulty levels, just every man and his dog seems to have a story about guiding Barnet to the 2016 CL final, beating Barcelona in extra time.

| Finished 5th in the league but got Luton promoted to League 2 through the playoffs.
On Loan Alberti was player of the season with 21 assists, 13 goals and 9 MOM. I've now managed to sign him on a free.
Now re-building my squad for League 2 with youngsters released by Premiership clubs and loan signings.

No difficulty levels as such, but if you were to take over a team like Plymouth with no money it would be more difficult to gain promotions and win things due to the fact that you're relying on signing players on frees.

Yeah but the game will eventually guide you to the Premiership, even if you are a complete imbecile. I don't see the challenge anymore. Like andym said, everyone has a tale of guiding a Blue Square North team into the Champions League.

The problem is, the free transfers you can make are pretty unrealistic......You can pick up players who in the real world wouldn't dream of joining a lower grade side on a free.
A lot of present day promising youngsters are soon available on frees and you can build an impressive looking squad, even if you are just a League 1 side.

| Started playing the demo as Everton. Pretty realistic. No money, no one will loan me a player.
Any recommendations for cheap signings?
And tactics? Do normal tactics work on this or do I have to go into loads of depth moving sliders and the like?

Samuel Armenteros. Bargain. Bought him for B'Pool in the championship for about £2.2mil, play him as an attacking target man and he scores a ton, got him developed to a 4* in about a year.
Banghura from Celtic as well, although you might have to wait a year, scores bagful for about £4mil.

| Loving FM12 so far. Most of the way through the first season and third with Everton.
I'm unashamedly playing total anti-football. Defensive or counter, deep defensive line, narrow, lots of closing down, hard tackling, ultra direct. I beat Arsenal 2-0 away last game and they had 81% possession.
GK - Howard
DR - Vrsaljko
DC - Jagielka
DC - Distin
DL - Baines
ML - Zenden
MC - Rodwell
MC - Fellaini
MR - Osman
AMC - Bilyetdinov
ST - Wilfried
Top scorers are Jagielka (icon_cool.gif, Baines (7) and Zenden (7).
I signed Dos Santos from Spurs but he doesn't fit in with the negative tactics I'm playing. So he's had a paddy and is refusing to train and has gone AWOL. I've told him it's a matter of principle now so he won't play for the club again or be sold, but rot in the reserves instead.
