Nice to see Rafa still losing it on the touchline, that second goal any complaints? I don't see how there could be, Reina kicked it away so they ref has to allow time.

Going back to your point on the last football thread about Everton. Arteta, we havn't heard much about to be honest, it's all been a bit quiet but initial hopes are still for September-october return. Jags is November and Yakubu is playing for the reserves tonight so hopefully he isn't far off getting back in.

It would be a shame to split the Pienaar/Baines partnership up and I'd be very suprised if Moyes did, it's a cracking left side and works so well together. Seems like he can offer a couple of positions though does our new Russian superstar icon_wink.gif

The right side of our side tho icon_surprised.gifops: icon_surprised.gifops: shiiite!!!!

Still think you need a right back, I think Moyes obviously does to as you nearly signed Naughton.

This Russian is a good player, I wonder where Moyes wants to play him, though. If he plays him centrally, he'll certainly add some much needed quality in the middle.

When everybody's fit, which is a rarity at Everton, what would be the first choice XI?

Mine would be

Howard, Neville, Yobo, Lesc..(oh no wait a min icon_wink.gif ) Jags, Baines.
Arteta, Rodwell, Cahill, Felliani, Pienaar
Yakubu.

Arteta is good from centre mid but we need his flair on the wing, him and Neville link up well.

makes you laugh dont it they will put anything in the papers. There is no chance that Fergie would sell Carrick to Liverpool lol he might sell Anderson to Barca though

Be interesting to see where Moyes does play him really because wide left would disupt Pienaar and Cahill's best position is without doubt playing off the front man.

My team would be:

Howard

Hibbert Yobo Jags Baines

Neville

Arteta Fellaini Pienaar

Cahill

Yakubu

Made me laugh. T'is the type of sh*t that's usually written about our club.

Carrick's a top player, but considering Fergie wouldn't sell us a well past it Heinze, I doubt very much he'd even look at a bid from us.

FWIW Carrick is one of very few players who could fill the boots of Alonso. Obviously, it won't happen. I'm sure Aquilani will be a good buy.

He'll probably play him as a full-back and allow him to go into the opposition's half of the pitch when Everton have a corner or a free-kick. icon_wink.gif

Lets hope we're still in with a shout by the time he is match fit/up to the pace of the Prem which I would imagine will be about Christmas time.

Don't know why the people are getting excited about Liverpool losing 2 games. I know it's the same as they lost all last season but I can't see them drawing as many this time around so could easily make the points difference up.

5 year deal? Ludicrous.
