Why would he do that? The SPL is the most boring league in the world. I've won the championship there twice. On the other 100 occasions either Celtic or Rangers won it.

Sounds low to me, that's only 3 a match.

He was also the most fouled up to the end of March 2009 - not seen the final stats though.

| The North West will have 8 teams in the top flight next season.
The region has also provided this seasons Champions, League cup winners, League runners up, and one of the FA Cup finalists. Also none of the NW teams were really involved in a relegation battle.
A North west team will contest the Champions League final this season, and in the last 4 years two different teams from the NW of England have been European champions. 7 out of the 9 European Cups won by English clubs have been won by NW sides.
England's two best players are both Scousers, and they are arguably both amongst the top 10 players in World football.
A hotbed of football, when will the rest of the country catch up?
As for the North East and Yorkshire, they should stick to Rugby League, and pigeon fancying.

I fouled him myself a couple of times in April. He just asks for it.

All that and they still ended up completely trophyless.
Figure that out.

| In theory, 8 teams from the north west will favour Arsenal and Chelsea in the title race.
Or does each team only count a couple of these games as real derbies? In reality..the other fixtures around the area are welcomed local games without the fire of a derby?

| Well done to Asley for getting Newcastle relegated, imo he should shoulder all of the blame, not a chance they would have been relegated with Keegan in charge. Don't think Shearer is the man either, not really inspired the side much since he took over or added anything new to the side.
Pleased Hull City stayed up although they should sack Brown off imo, arrogant clown at times and far too in love with himself.
Congrats to Burnley, really pleased for them, tatty bye Blackwell.
