| reckon rossi's tyres went a bit for the second half of the race, rather than his bike being a problem

| Thought the night race worked very well, the overhead shots from the helicopter looked really impressive, what with the circuit being literally in the middle of the desert.

| Round 2 in Jerez this weekend.
Tempted to back Lorenzo for this one. He's got a good record at this circuit in 250's and Stoner had a mare last year - although he did do well in testing there earlier this year.

| Lorenzo on pole with Pedrosa and Edwards making up the front row.Hayden ,Rossi and De Puniet on row 2,Stoner in 7th.The highlight from qualifying was Edwards dropping his bike and bouncing back up again, incredible how he did that, naturally followed by a wave to the crowd!Bradley Smith on pole again so lets hope his bike performs this time, roll on tommorow...

| Eventfull to say the least!Great ride by Bradley after a top fight with Bradl and the 250's were unbeleivable with my favourite Bautista being taken out my afro wearing Simoncelli on the last.Great start by Pedrosa proved to be enough but how well did JT do?He looked like a bag o sh*te after the race, good to see Rossi back and Stoner will be glad to see no more sand in Spain for a while

| Just wait until Toseland and Edwards get the extras for their bikes that Rossi and Lorenzo already have being full factory bikes.

| a strange old race that one. Never seen Stoner struggle like that on a Ducati. I liked the Edwards/Pedrosa recoveries on turn 1 though, very impressive!

| Have dumped the BBC coverage for this season. I am finding the Eurosport presentation much more informative and knowledgeable. The only down side is the adverts but so far it is still worth it.
The in-house battle between my choice Edwards and the Wifes favourite Rossi is not as clear cut as it looked before the season.

| I certainly think that Toseland can bag a few podiums this year.
He's outpacing what should be, on paper at least, quicker bikes and he is clearly a very good rider. Some of his overtaking moves in Jerez were excellent and it was just a shame that he got pipped by Capirossi at the end.
Hopefully the transition to the new engine goes smoothly. If it does, Estoril could be very interesting.

I agree with you. I think he will get podiums once he gets the new engine and other parts fitted. He might even win one.

| JT is definatly good enough to win a gp and with parts arriving in time for plenty of practise for Estoril its looking good for him,The engine ,no illness and his mums cooking will all be in his favour.Hayden stayed behind last week for over 80 laps trying for more improvement so its hotting up already at the top,a certain Mr Schumacher was on a ducati at Mugello yesterday lapping at around 1'58 for 40 laps, lap record is about 1'50,i wonder if he could have made it on 2 wheels instead of 4.....
