| Put a single on Big Buck's in November @ 4/5 with Ladbrokes, NRNB.
Done a single on Quevega at the same stake last month, when it was announced Voler would be going for the World. I must've literally been one of the last people to get the 4/5 that was left with Boyles, as shortly after they were same price as everyone else. No NRNB so backside will be nipping until I see her line up at the tape.
Three multiples with free bet money.
Quevega (5/4) & Big Buck's (4/7), with the first leg being Novak Djokovic to win the Aussie open.
The next one was a nine-timer which included a few cross the card sports bets (Man Utd to beat Ajax in Amsterdam etc), plus Hurricane Fly (8/11), Big Buck's (8/15) and Quevega (4/7).
The most recent one was Hurricane Fly (4/5), Quevega (4/7), Big Buck's (4/7) and Long Run (9/4) acca.

| Only had the one ante post at the minute - Fly, Quevega and Big Bucks Treble at 4/1 - Tiny compared to what you got Wire!
Got £40 in free bets from William Hill coming through once a bet on Djokovic is settled in the ATP in Dubai and they need to be done in a week so going to get on a few bigger priced ones in the other races. Anyone know of any good guides, seen quite a few people reccomend the Paul Jones one from the Weatherby site but that looks like it takes a week or so to arrive.
Just read Kauto has fallen in schooling with Ruby and is now 50/50 to go to Cheltenham!

Agree re Sprinter Sacre - just not convinced about his price at all with him not guaranteed to stay/find anything off the bridle, but at the same time not too sure whats going to beat him. Peddlers going to the Jewson? Al Ferof is my favourite at the moment, just hoping he doesnt get outpaced if the others last. Menorah could be a good e/w bet at the prices, if he can put in a god round of jumping can't see him out the mix at the end.

| End to end gallop will help Cue Card's jumping, can't see him out of the frame.
Was hoping Al Ferof would go for the Jewson.

| Menorah's jumping of fences has been hideous so far, think they need Harry Potter and not Yogi Breisner.
The horse hasn't ran a decent race since the 2010 International Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Think Hobbs has lost the plot a bit personally, hasn't had a clue with what to do with Wishful Thinking or Captain Chris all year.
With being the Arkle winner last year, I'd have aimed CC at the Champion Chase - a race that lacks strength in depth, he is guaranteed to be ok over the trip and won a very important trial race 12 months ago. But Hobbs, bafflingly, seems to want to run him over 26.5f in the Gold Cup. Another race without great strength in depth, but it is another 2.5f and a stiff hill finish compared to him running in the King George at Xmas.
Wishful Thinking is the tough one to place. Don't think he'll have the toe or the gears for the Champion Chase; the Ryanair looks much better than recent years with Riverside Theatre and Rubi Light having won their prep races; Nolan will have Noble Prince A1 after a poor effort last time out; and guaranteed Albertas Run will put up another bold bid given ideal conditions.
Wishful Thinking has won races over 2m5f, but never been tried any further. Hard to know how he'd do over 3m-3m 2.5f unless they tried it.

Very good words for Boston Bob again, looks definately like the one to beat in the race he goes. Anyone seen anything to give an indication of where he's going?

| fancied pittoni today but left it as the going was described as good and didnt want to take a short price on a horse that had previously flopped on good ground. opposition was fairly poor today so got away with it. think they should retire karabak, a shadow of the horse he once was.

I'd say 2/1 is a more realistic price for Sprinter Sacre, wouldn't touch him at odds on. Questions about whether he'll get up the hill but Henderson is confident. If I could get 2/1 I'd probably have a dabble, but the Arkle is a tough race and its nowhere near the banker some are making it out to be IMO.

Haven't bet in either race yet, but quite fancy Monksland for the Neptune so hopefully Boston Bob will go for the Albert Bartlett. FWIW, I don't think Simonsig will win a festival hurdle, but has the makings of a quality chaser.

| mccoy said he needed his wind done after supreme last year so they are confident the hill won't be a problem this year. he has looked great so far, but this is a different kettle of fish to his previous races. they went a dawdle in the game spirit and, while he was bloody impressive, could be argued he didnt beat the anything of real quality.
cue card looks set to set a strong gallop. could see sprinter sacre hacking all over him and just need to be shaken up to win, or he will find zilch off the bridle and a strong stayer like al ferof will grind it out.
2/1 is a good price mind.
