Saw part of a interview with Matt Hardy and for a change he's seems a little normal.

One of the questions was why tag team wrestling has fallen off the radar:

"We came along during a very special time in the business…the height of the Attitude era. Stone Cold was white-hot and The Rock was a huge megastar. Ratings were great and those guys were selling out arenas everywhere. Management was able to put the top guys on cruise control because they didn’t have to worry, so they had extra time to focus on the tag team division or the women. At the point they’re at now, they’re still scrambling for the white hot guys. John Cena is the face of the company right now but there is no one setting record TV ratings or selling out arenas on a consistent basis. Once they find those one or two top guys that are the franchise players, they can dedicate their attention to tag teams again."

Yep - hope so. The title needs shaking up. Would love Bryan to be champion. Hope they keep Cena away from the strap for a while longer, leaving the title mix-up to be between DB, Punk, Jericho (if he's there beyond August?) and maybe Ziggler.

Cena in the MitB. I doubt you'd get good odds on him not walking out with the brief case.

I still feel they need to merge the titles together. Go back to just having the WWE title and the IC title. There's not enough talent to sustain two separate shows and the titles to go with them

An almost-endless amount of women have been and gone, so it's great when you get the odd one come along who can connect with people either in the ring or on the mic. The little bits I've seen of AJ she's played her role with Daniel Bryan very well. Hope the mods don't mind me plugging an upcoming wrestling show in Hull. It's happening on Sunday 22nd July at the Bonus Arena (next door to the KC Stadium), and features an appearance by British legend Kendo Nagasaki, as well as TNA wrestler Winter. Have already got a ticket, sounds like it should be an excellent event in what I believe is a very nice venue for wrestling (holding I think anywhere upto 1500 fans): www.hullwrestling.com

I disagree.

Punk, Bryan, Jericho, Ziggler (ESPECIALLY Ziggler), Rhodes, Del Rio, Sheamus are all good enough to carry off a World Title reign. And that's without adding in your two WWE faces in Cena and Orton.

Punk v Bryan (WWE) and Ziggler v Rhodes (WHC) would be the stuff of dreams at Mania.

RAW last night, can someone please send Tensai back to Japan? I find him incredibly infuriating. On the plus side, Heath Slater's segment again was pretty well worked; everyone expected him to get squashed, but he actually won a match this time - before falling foul of the Diamond Cutter!
