| Well Orton has blew what was probably him getting the WHC at Summerslam, and is now on his last strike.
Cena is back on Raw on Monday, so for the hour and a half of air time expect to see him for about 45 minutes of it. 
You'd think he was sh&gging a McMahon the way he gets so much time. He appeals to the kids and that is about it. |

The problem though mate is that kids (and their parents don't forget) make up a pretty large percentage of WWE events these days. Watch Raw from 98 or 99 and then watch it now. Back then it was largely 18-35 year old blokes in the crowd, now it's mostly kids and families. You notice this change even more when you go to a WWE live event, and compare it to ones back in the Attitude Era.
Therefore I think while kids are still having their parents take them to WWE and spend £60-£80 on Cena merch (£25 t-shirt, £25 cap, £15-£20 the wristbands) then he's just not going to go away.

The thing with Ryback is that Vince is reportedly a huge fan of his. I remember reading that during his NXT Run, Vince thought he could be the #2 Face in WWE after Cena.
He needs to start working his way up to squashing actual wrestlers now to gain some credibility.

Only if it's guys from the bottom of the roster. You need to build up some serious top guys before you let this sort of character loose in the upper card |
