Fancy backing So Young but I'm not entirely convinced he justifies the odds, has been off since May and is going up in trip on very soft ground. Three runners, could be a muddling little race, can't take 1/2 in the hope that he's ready to bounce back from a poor run last time out.

Our Girl Salley at a huge price later, on ratings its got zero chance plus she's top weight but she was being talked up as a rival to Quevega before being pull out of Cheltenham, wouldn't of been but I do think its best RPR of 132 is pretty harsh given the way she ed all over a decent Listed field last year only coming off the bit after the last and pushed out.

If I back Long Run for the King George today, and the race falls victim to the weather and rescheduled like last year, would my bet be honoured for the race or would I lose the bet?

Last year I backed the Fly first time out with Ladbrokes and Paddy, it got voided with paddy stake returned but Ladbrokes kept the bet open which was nice!

Val Mondo is 14/1 but probs best bet in the W/O market 11/2 and place @ 11/4 because the money is down for fav.

Bought for £70,000 from Germany recently its run to 106 on the flat and won over 14f in a Group 3 and been 2nd in a Listed race over 15f so there is hope it gets the trip, one of its best runs this season was in a Group 3 coming 4th which was won by Night Magic a 114 flat horse who chased home the Arc winner last time, the 3rd has since beaten Famous Name, so its good flat form.

Now its great its got good staying flat form but its nothing unless it can jump but it is a half sister to a Grade 1 winning hurdler in Valgano and Viper has won over hurdles twice and did run in a Grade 2 race with Long Run, so there is jumping pedigree in the family.

Just had a nice bet on that myself - too good not to really, both look to have nice opportunities.
