And Torterella's first job was to bring back Sean Avery and get rid of a fans favourite in Peter Prucha.
He may aswell start the rebuilding process for next season because I don't think the Rangers will be making the playoff's this year.

| Blackhawks made the playoffs friday for the 1st time in 7 years 
It's probably a little early to hope we can win the cup this year but Kane,Toews etc will benefit from having the experience this season and take that into the next few years when they should be challenging for the cup. |

Another important win for the Blackhawks in Nashville beating the Preds 4-2. Still too tight to cal as to who the Hawks will face in the 1st round of the playoffs with the Canucks beating the Flames 4-1 to go level on points with Calgary for 3rd. Hawks hopefully can secure 4th to claim the home advantage.
