Youre right Inside Man, good post as always. I agree with what you say that he could have hurt some Cleveland fans, but i'm pretty sure they'd be just as hurt now if he hadn't have done the show. I'm not slagging Bosh either, he has been consistent, but if you were to pick two of the big three and leave one out, then i think 9/10 people would leave out bosh, and spread his salary elsewhere.

It shouldn't have got to this point to begin with, half the problem is that if a hard cap is introduced (which is what the owners want) then teams like the Lakers will probably have to get rid of Gasol and one other as they are so far over it to begin with, the luxury tax means so little to them in reality.

I was really looking forward to the NBA this year too, I've only ever dipped in and out before but I really got into it towards the end of last season watching it on TV after I saw a local side playing in the BBL as I worked at the Arena they played so I got into watching the NBA, brilliant it was too. I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs but was looking forward to the new season until all this, just my luck.

I've steadily got more involved with it, from watchin the odd game to trying to stay up to catch every Knicks/Heat game. Really got into it this last season, which is why it's incredibly frustrating that its not going ahead.

Thing with the NBA is it can be very boring to watch for a full season, especially if you don't have a team to watch. I have drifted in and out of the NBA for years, got back into it at the back end of the 09/10 season, watched all of last season because of Blake, but now I'm pretty gutted it probably won't be back on. I even took NBA 2K12 back because the season looked likely to be called off. Ah well.
