He was banned by the FA for refusing to take a drugs test when he was at Torquay when he was 37 (about the same age as John Burridge was still throwing himself around the ER goals )

Hibs once offered John Leslie a contract so nothing suprises me.
David Zitelli was wasted at ER.

Are we talking about passing the ball to the opposition here, or not

Oh now come on, you know full well that Hibs are the artists while yourselves are the (albeit a tad more successful) cloggers
We had Franck Sauzée and Russell Latapy, you had Gordon Durie and Stevie Fulton

Naylor and Wilson will do fine.
Celtic were badly lacking on the attacking midfield and striker front last year. That was always this summer's priority.

Oh dear, it shows the aspirations of a club if those two "will do fine" yet more winning a two horse race but getting humped when it really counts in Europe again.

Oh aye, and they have really solved that, they couldn't hit a cows @rse with a banjo when they played Newcastle last week.

It was a friendly you tool. And considering they'd just been touring America as well a couple days before it was a decent effort.
Was very impressed with Scott Brown towards the end of the game, he'll do well for the bhoys this season.

Europe doesn't count unless you are a club with a realistic chance of winning it. Celtic do not and no Scottish club ever will again. That's the way it is because there is never any prospect of attracting a host of world class stars, so the only priority is to win your domestic championship.
Celtic are traditionally awful in friendlies whilst Rangers do well in them, get themselves all giddy, have all the Daily Hun tipsters tipping them for glory, then inevitably finish 15 points behind.
