Doubt anything will win as easily as she did today but his battle to get fit has proved most worthwhile and fair play to him (and indeed Choc Thornton also) for that. |

Well, it paid 60, so if GE stayed on his feet at his price of 13/2 I would say it woulda been a fair bit smaller as I imagine he woulda been a popular choice. |

Other than the 1st Race, had places in every other race.
Even went for Tullamore Dew in the last aswell.
Think I'm up by a nice sum after day 1 without any winners.
A far better start than last year for me so pleased.
And I think we can safely say Ruby showed the SPOTY how to win today. Geraghty and Choc had a good day aswell.

Just hope he stays off the deck in between now and then he must still be fragile and hopefully a crash to the deck will not test how well he is. AP bounced back up after a nasty fall earlier and no doubt a fully fit Ruby would too but if that had been him today I doubt we would have enjoyed his talents for the rest of the week. |
