Quite a Good Start for me ... Normally my 1st Day is terrible.

Aachen was a NR so i backed Medermit E/W. (2nd)

Tatenen was very disappointing, falling at the 1st as favourite isn't good enough.

Wichita Lineman was my hero of the day ... I was driving at the time and was listening to the radio, cheering my little heart out. Watched it when i got home and ... Wow!

Binocular was a shock but credit to Punjabi .. A Great Race.

Nina Carberry rode superbly on Garde Champetre and pipped L'Ami to victory.

Carole's Legacy didn't perform well and finished in 11th .. Quevega was awesome.

Day 1 2 Wins , 1 2nd Place and a 3rd.

Laid Binocular, Cousin Vinny, L'Ami and Tatenen today successfully. Also laid Wichita Lineman, which was looking good until McCoy did his stuff (didn't lay it in running, thankfully ).

Considering laying Master Minded too - it's effectively 3/1 to fall or make a serious mistake. However, looking at what's up against it, it could probably fall twice and still get back up to win

Had Punjabi E/W at 25s and Kalahari King E/W at 10s. Not seen any of the races but from what i heard they were crackers?
Thought i had Quevega as well but it appears i missed out on the buffet. All in all a good day +£66.

Any tips for tomorow?

+£52 today, Had a tenner on Garde Champatre and £20 on Quevega to rescue my day at the end after Binocular and Calgary bay failed.

Why was Binocular a shock, i told you it wouldn't win.

After Haydock when he looked phenomenal .. today was a capitulation. Had a lame spell up the hill and only looked interested with half a furlong to go.

As i have said before, he cant cope with the hill, it was the same story last year.

Not being funny but anybody can come on here after the race and say, oh i had that E/W, i had that to win and i changed my mind about that horse and backed the winner instead, oh and im showing £300 profit.

One word for Wednesday... Psycho.

Cost me an absolute fortune last year when it came cantering down the hill but was given too much to do to catch the winner. Its pay back tomorrow over the extended trip for the Coral Cup. I've snapped up plenty of the 8/1 each way on offer tomorrow. Come on Davey... its time we collected on this beast.
