If I remember that game rightly, he handled Drogba very well all game, and was desperately unlucky to score the OG. Now for a young lad making his PL debut against one of the world's best strikers, he did well. I reckon we've been watching him for a while, and are afraid that Arsenal will make a move before us.

Having him as a cover at CB, will enable Brown to play RB alongside Rafael, presuming that Neville retires this year. I'd quite like him to be loaned back to Fulham for the rest of the season to give him some more first XI experience.

Apparantly Milan and other Italian clubs are now interested in Vidic.
