Was thinking however; if, as many people believe, that next years WM will be taker's last and they're still bigging up Punk maybe, just maybe, breaking the streak would really cement Punk as The Guy in wrestling'"
As awesome as Punk is mate, IMO Taker deserves to go out with the Streak intact. 20-0 would be fitting for what the guy has given of his body to WWF/E since 1990, in many ways he is the greatest wrestling star of all-time (esp to still be performing at the level that he can in big matches).
20-0, then the Hall of Fame ceremony to end all ceremonies the following year.

| i thought that punk would return after a break come back the hero at mania and do the taker giving him the eel back.
however , i think its hard to call no matter how hard they have tried to make punk " the bad guy guy " we love him RR 2010 was great and he used his "pipe bomb " with effect ever since.
i really do think the biggest screw job since calgary will happen tonight and will be the major trailer leading up to WM were another sting will be in the tail.
never seen the colt , looking forward if that happens , pop corn in mirco now...ping
dont see where the Orton spin is going , if they keep the CMpunk - Cena story lines then a new much needed era is here.
dont be suprised to see a special guest tonight

| another very good ppv from wwe.
really does look like they've turned a corner in relation to the product.
true, the cena vs punk match wasn't quite as good as MitB, but it was still a good solid match. I was sort of expecting the afters, but not in that way.
Orton vs Christian was good, they seemed to be trying to steal the spot light away from Punk vs Cena, which is a good thing because if you've got guys all trying to put on the best match of the night then you're going to get a lot of good matches.

Pretty much agree with all of the above. Just hope wwe keep the momentum up now.
Cena and Punk put on another decent match. Punk really does bring out the best in Cena.
My only problem with the ppv was the announcers. They really are awful and kept going off instead of focusing on the action.

| Was an okay ppv. Cena Punk was never going to hit the heights of MITB but it was good to see Cena do a bit of wrestling.
Very impressed by the Barrett v Bryan match myself, not to mention Christian!
I suppose the very end of the night deviates back towards the original plans for Summerslam...
Oh and also, big hand to Wheels for ordering the ppv for the lads!

| Replace Booker with Regal. He's brilliant on NXT.
Regal is probably the only person in WWE who can successfully pull off being a Wrestler, Manager, Announcer and GM.

They have very short memories ( I shouted here comes the conchairto as soon as Christian picked up 2 chairs it took them over a min to figure it out!)
There was a massive booing as soon as Cena appeared and all the comentary could say was 'a mixed reaction'.
Really guys it sounded like almost pure booing to me.
I was rather happy with beth Phoenix giving us all semi peep show for almost a minute.
Not going to complain
SS was another solid PPV that is 2 in a row now WWE please let it continue.
On a side note the rematch's are stacking up now as I make it that Ray, Cena and Punk are all in line for one.

That's a good call. Regal is fantastic on the mic. Personally I'd love to see him as Raw gm. His facial expressions alone can be comedy.
Just for God sake www get rid of the anonymous gm laptop.

| I agree with the popular opinion that Regal has been underutilised but sadly he's not helped himself.
He was probably the focal point of Raw a few years ago as GM and King of the Ring but then he went and got himself another suspension.

| I usually enjoy Booker's commentary but last night not so much. I'm all for Regal though. To be honest, I'd rather they say goodbye to the King.

| Hope that Nash is revealed to be a hired muscle for Del Rio as there is no way he can be a focal point of a major feud with CM Punk right now. When he ran at Punk I was half expecting him to blow his knees out.
Christian v Orton stole the show big time though.
