Hope he's right, I'm on at 4/1 (now 5/2 favourite).

Why would you have two bets at 50K at the same odds?

The bets were spread out over 5 or 6 minutes so I'm guessing from the timing that one was at 3/1 and one at 11/4.

Yep, very pleased, been flagging that one for months. Beaten by Sea The Stars last year at the Curragh by a similar margin, was obviously going to get close today.

Had Storyland just then too - got Summer Bird in the Belmont, hope he runs as well, can go close

Think like today Board 2 (beating Klassen) suits Caven but it will be his last game off the main stage if he does win and then the pressure will mount to show if he is going to fulfil his potential or not.



Just a shame Taylor and Barney have been kept apart for a change in this competition but there you go.

I know this is turning into a bit of a Jamie Cavanthon on here but if anyone does have a Stan James account I would get £1.65 (the bu$$ers won't let you have more on) on Caven for the World Title at 1000/1.

It is a long shot but not that much of a long shot 125/1 in places, 250/1 in others which is probably about the right price.

If he has a storming day tomorrow and wins or goes close in the UK Open it could be the making of him and I guarentee he will not be the same price as Bill Davis, Steve Maish, Ray Carver etc for the Ally Pally event.
