To the Chiefs.

Kellen Winslow has also been traded to Tampa.

Apparantly they got Cassel for a 2nd round pick.

He's now officially in the same league as Daunte Culpepper and AJ Feeley.

Apparantly it's Vrabel & Cassel for the 2nd rounder, that's great value for the Chiefs.

It may be Thigpen going to Tampa.


Lions get another First round reciever - Bryant Johnson signs a 3 year deal.

I'm not a fan of Cassell, personally i don't think he is significantly better than Thigpen. If he can live up to the hype then it will be excellent value for the Chiefs.

Also has implications on our draft. With the Chiefs going to 3-4 they will most likely take BJ Raji at 3 now instead of a QB (Sanchez). That means we can either go corner or get the rush linebacker at 9.

I can see them taking Aaron Curry possibly, or maybe trading down with someone like Philly so that the Eagles can take Crabtree.

Thats not a bad shout.

I'm not sure if they will be able to trade down though, In these economic times, to get to number three you'd have to give up a hell of alot both in draft picks and also financial outlay for the player.

It is going to be an interesting draft now with Cassell gone to the Chiefs.

Stafford is going to go number one. No Matt Millen means no drafting Crabtree with number one!

Sanchez could slide now. Maybe to San Fran at 10 (although talk of them going after Warner) or Chicago and Tampa at 18/19.

John Kitna traded to Dallas for Anthony Henry

Apparantly the Broncos have been shopping Jay Cutler
