look out for a cricket score when newcastle play spanish side el salvador on sunday.
it won't get a mention when they get walloped... wonder if the media would gloss over it if it happened in league |

Apparently Toulon rested all their top players.
Anyway, just a quick question. I cant get to sleep and just looking through random crap on the internet, and found out that the the Buceresti Oaks which participate in the European Challenge Cup is a team made up of the best domestic Romanian players. But Georgia are ranked higher in the IRB rankings, so why isn't it them who have the team in the comp instead? |

Probably because very few of the top Georgian players actually still play in the Georgian league, at a guess? The best Georgians are playing in France for example.
IIRC the Romanians have always had a team in the Challenge Cup since its inception. |

and with the current situation in georgia maybe the IRB doesnt want its supestars playing there
maybe the best georgian players dont want to play there
and as andy said, most of the top georgian players play in france anyway
the same happened with league in lebanon (and they still completed their domestic season  ) |
