Seeing Carvalho fit & on the bench just seemed bizarre. Folk who seem to be taking solace from the Terry ban, should remember that Chelsea do have him as a direct replacement.
I think the tie is still alive, just. Difficulty for Liverpool will be how much they attack in the second leg, and knowing that there's danger of getting broken at the other end, Chelsea looked particularly dangerous on the break last night.
I thought Kalou & Malouda, two much maligned players were very good last night, and it was as close to the 'Mourinho Drogba' that I've seen. Easily Chelsea' best performance since the Special One left.

You reckon. Must have been a great game for the neutrals, as a Liverpool fan it was torture being at the game when we were completely outplayed by Chelsea.
I suppose you would rather watch Numancia v Valladolid or something. Don't get me wrong I'm a big a fan of the La Liga as anyone, but you seem to have it in for English football. |
