| Quote: Roofaldo "Well that's true.
Beyond Cena, you've not really got anyone to replace Cena as top face should Cena be taken out of commission.'" And that is no one's fault but VKM's and his management.
They should be rapidly be looking for the next big face but we all know VKM see's to many $ for that.
So instead he will push some mid card face (Alex Riley as an example although I dont think Riley is good enough myself) until they are at a level where they are on the crux of it.
At that point they will get called in to see Vince and he will no doubt pretty much say 'Hi Alex (example) come in and take a seat, Me and the managment think you have been going very well and have been getting good pop's from the crowd, We are going to turn you hell against Cena for the next PPV is that ok.....Good!'
'Oh BTW at the PPV we want you to totally dominate John for the best part of 20 mins and the right at the end he is going to become Superman deliver his one move and win is that ok......Good'
When Cena is forced to take a break and the WWE are left looking stupid I wont be able to stop myself laughing if I'm honest.

| Just want to share an funny story from the pub last night. I was wearing a black nWo shirt to the pub. Now I tend to shy away from wearing Wrestling shirts to the pub because you get 2 different types of people. The people who laugh at you for wearing a wrestling shirt, understandable, it is rather nerdy. And the second type are those who think they know everything about wrestling. This one gentleman in his profound glory went on to explain to me that:
*CM Punks promo on RAW was a complete shoot and he has now been fired.
*HBK owns and runs OVW and they are still the WWE's developmental territory
*Bret Hart is the lead writer for WWE
Now when I used logic and fact to dispute each of his statements he would not have it and continued to verbally abuse me as knowing nothing about wrestling! I love marks.

| I know it was a taped show and the results have already been given away, but I thought that last night's Raw was good. The promo between Vince and Cena that ended with the stipulation that Cena is fired if Punk beats him could be set up for a Survivor Series style end to a PPV.
But as many have said, Cena is apparently working hurt so this would be a great way to get him some time off. He loses to Punk, while Punk is celebrating his win, the MitB winning comes out and cashes in on him there and then.
Cena gets time off, Punk does the right thing and goes out on his back and maybe, just maybe, someone new gets a shot at the spotlight

Is Punk definitely going or is it a work?

An angle that gets Cena some time off and gets him over even more.

But I thought that was the point? Vince is supposed to come over as selfish and insecure and only out for what's best for him.
They're set up for a Vince/Punk/Cena confrontation on Monday night so hopefully they can really push on with this as it's the last show before the PPV

God I'll be glad when the PG Era is over.
Hey and re the Punk Adelaide clip, very funny, but he's already apologised for it on Twitter, homophobic-related comments are a definite no-no for the company these days (not that they should ever be acceptable, but they used to get away with it during the Attitude Era I think).

| Some people reckon there's a Montreal Screwjob coming up, with Vince taking one of their sides to screw the other. Could even be a way to send Cena heel.

It'd be a great way to try and reignite the spark of interest in WWE. Going back to a "anything can happen on our show" mentality might just gain them back some viewers who've gotten bored with the same formulaic shows and ppvs

| Can someone tell me why they've brought Sgt Slaughter back? He looks like he's about 60 and incapable of being part of a proper move. His 4th July match on Raw with Swagger was awful, a few punches from Sarge, the Swagger clotheslined him and finished him.
Why bring an old guy back to be fodder like that?
