Or more accurately, took over a team that had lost the title by 18 clear points to win it by the same margin in a year, and mamaged a team to three runaway title successes, one that would have been in the bag had it not been for major distractions and one that his team inexpicably tthrew away right at the death. Add to that one treble another couple of cups and a UEFA Cup Final, beating many top European sides, and you have to see that he has a point.
Interestingly not oneof O'Neill's five years saw as many points dropped as this year. It's the shocking standard of Rangers that has seen Celtic through this year rather than the brilliance of the Hoops. |

Compare this with a team a couple years back when I think in 1 Old Firm game there was about 2/3 Scots in the whole of the line up.

I think Strachan has a good balanced side with plenty of depth too. I do think it is time for Lennon to go though, possibly Balde and sign top quality with a couple of players that will give further depth in the Champions League if Celtic want to progress on this years run.'"
I've been saying the same thing. We do not have so many foreigners. We have a team made up of mainly Scots, a few Irish and Lee Naylor who is English. I like to see a team of players who know what it means to play for Celtic rather than go where the money is.
