With Punk, it's been well known that his WWE contract is due to expire shortly.

He's also tweeted that he's looking to leave as he doesn't feel he's being treated like a top guy. Which is a shame as he really is one of, if not the best, worker in wrestling today.

I'm just wondering now, with him making a statement on Raw, if the whole thing isn't just a work.

Tbh it sounds to me like it is, or perhaps which started off legitimate but has since turned into a work (maybe cos Punk has verbally agreed a new deal or something?). Be a shame if he does leave cos he's a superb wrestler and very entertaining.

Just been announced by WWE that there was a technical error with the voting on the Evan Bourne v Mason Ryan match.

Apparently there was a back log of votes from the previous vote involving Kelly Kelly who was option B along with Ryan.

The match up should have been Sin Cara, kind of explains the botch match and look of surprise on Bournes face when they announced Ryan.

Sin Cara would have made more sense. I didn't think the vote actually mattered and the results were a fix anyway.

You could tell Ryan - Bourne was called on the fly, great job to not make it a total balls up.

Ziggler-Kofi was also messed up, Vickie was meant to be banned from ringside.



Punk's probably going to take some time off, his body is battered and he needs a rest.

Why the suprise though?
Surely if it was a 'public vote' he could have gotten anyone.

It is but realistically wwe know more people would vote for Sin Cara than Mason Ryan or Swagger.

Even so if the guys in question hadn't even considered it and worked on it they deserved everything they get.

which is why the Ryan v Bourne match was a bit crap.

Ryan is nowhere near ready for single matches on Raw.

Also I read a while ago that Sin Cara doesn't speak a word of English so his matches have to be planned somewhat in advance. Bourne and Cara would have worked something out before in anticipation.

Apparently we'll see the Cara v Bourne match on Raw next week. Think wwe are screwing up with this as it's potentially a great match and should have some weeks of build up.

I read a while ago that Cena was pushing for Punk's final run with the company (for the time being at least...) to be with him.
