| Quote: Fantastic Mr Catpiss "pretty much, with very little build up time inbetween, i'm harking back to early 90's now but they used to do it properly then, wrestling challenge and superstars at 'talent' v jobber, talent only fought each other on the big 4 ppv's and on Saturday nights main events the night before, which used to cross promote and mix and match the match ups for the ppv.'"
Yeah that was brilliant mate - bring in a huge monster, have him smash through jobbers in quick-fire matches, so then when he faces one of the big stars it really means something and you have that strong doubt about who will win. My most memorable examples of this happening was The Undertaker been built up for a year before beating Hogan for the belt, and Yokozuna been pushed as unstoppable for a good 6 months before defeating Bret Harm at WM9 for the title. Okay this is probably a bad example in a way cos they then had Hogan defeat Yoko in 30 seconds for the belt, but before that he destroyed jobbers in a frightening way - that Bonzai Drop finisher was legitimately scary watching it as a 9/10 year old. Was reading last week though a quote from Bret Hart that the BD (despite Yoko weighing 550-650 pounds in WWF and dropping from the middle turnbuckle) never hurt at all. Now that is the sign of a great worker, something the cookie-cutter muscleheads of the modern-day WWE could learn from.
For anyone who watches Tough Enough and NXT, do you feel it's warranted WWE keeping both shows? Just as an outsider who doesn't have Sky it sounds like they're basically the same show - a platform for unproven workers to train and getting exposure?

| Just a quick question.
Is Punk really quitting the WWE or is it an angle?
I saw his recent twitter rant and though 'hmm interesting' but with that said I can't for the life of me belive Vince or any of the WWE production staff would risk another 'belt in the bin' situation or something similar if Punk starts 'showboating' in his last WWE match.
Hell that was why Bret Hart got screwed all those years ago just to protect the then WWF's title belt and its mystique.

Not been keeping up with Punk's situation, and I know it's not the point, but IMO the belts are completely meaningless these days anyway (100% WWE's own fault).

Punk contract runs out on the 17th next month apprently which just happens to be the date of the PPV in which he is main eventing against Cena.

| Punk has been rumoured to leave for months now, his body is worn out and he needs a few months off.
His leaving RoH was the best though, he won the title and signed his WWE contract on the title a couple days later.
