Does anyone else think that the WWE are finally getting the message (About school kid hunting is killing the brand)?
The lastest RAW's has had more potty mouth moments (borderline PG-14?) then I can remember in a long time.

Perhaps the Impact new slogan and the heat a certain superman/child hero is starting to make them think, Either that or Mrs Mcmahon has decided running another failed attempt for the senate is a waste of money.

Really wish they'd start calling us fans again though instead of the WWE Universe, fookin stupid eh.

I thought Roddy Piper looked in pretty good shape on Raw. Given when he recently turned up on WWE TV he's been unable to see his feet

'Capitol Punishment' summed up everything that's wrong with the WWE. Both World Championship matches were absolutely horrible. I don't think the fans legitimately cheered for anyone other than CM Punk, who looks like he will be leaving the company, and Zack Ryder, who wasn't even on the PPV.

The Smackdown Title match had to be shortened as Orton's working through a concussion atm, Cena's also got a bunch of injuries.

They bascically can't put the Title on R-Truth, as he won't get into Canada.

What were the results? The kids made me tape it again, costing me a fortune them being into the Wrestling.

How did Del Rio beat the Big Show?

If Orton had a legit concussion then fair enough. It's a bit tedious watching a good match and then Orton hitting his finisher 'out of nowhere' to win though, and that's been the ending to pretty much all the recent PPV matches with Orton that I can remember. Equally, I'm not bothered about the result of the Cena match, just the way in which it was done. Yet again, Cena was dominated for the entire match and kicked out of 10+ covers only to shrug off the entire beatdown, become 'Super-Cena' and win with one move. It's boring, repetitive and it makes whoever Cena is wrestling look extremely weak. That's part of the reason there are no real credible heels - as soon as one of them gets a push, they end up in a match with Orton or Cena that always ends in the same way and makes them look stupid.
Big Show was assaulted by Mark Henry and put through the Spanish announce table before the match, which was probably the best thing that happened in the PPV.

This is the first WWE PPV I havent paid for and watched in a while.
By the sounds of it I have seen it before anyway.
I am seriously starting to wonder if greed isn't Vince's problem and its more to do with him and his family losing the plot.

Shane's got a bit of smarts and got out when he could, doing pretty well with his other business interests.

likewise, didn't buy it amid complaints from el daughter, the build up and match billing just made it feel like the ill fated ECW ppv december to dismember.

It jsut had a bad feeling around it.

It just seems that PPV's aren't become the important event they should be. The point of tv shows should be building up the PPV so it's an unmissable event where if you don't watch it, you'll miss something incredible. But rather they're just longer and more expensive versions of the tv shows.

pretty much, with very little build up time inbetween, i'm harking back to early 90's now but they used to do it properly then, wrestling challenge and superstars at 'talent' v jobber, talent only fought each other on the big 4 ppv's and on Saturday nights main events the night before, which used to cross promote and mix and match the match ups for the ppv.
