| Kempton 1.00 King Olav 7/1 E/W
Kempton 2.40 Did these last night money for Always Bold now
Always Bold 12/1 E/W
Not taken to chasing but decent over hurdles in class 2 and 3 handicaps, dropped a few lbs from last hurdles race and also has good claimer onboard taking 7lbs off so has no weight on its back should have a good chance.
Lough Derg 14/1 E/W
Did this more because I like the horse then anything but is 9lbs lower from when it ran to 161 at Ascot and with have needed the run last time out.

| Good call Upthecats - Henderson's just coming into form. Would be very wary of backing According though (as big a fan as I was of his pre-UK debut) as he's burst blood vessels in the past and there are plenty being backed against him.
13:30 Kempton - Montys Revenge - Massive no show thus far under rules on fairly testing tracks (on heavy ground at Chepstow in a bumper) and on good ground at the notoriously difficult Towcester course and though on the formbook there's not a lot to recommend him on the trainer is 2/2 in Novice hurdles at the track (LSP isn't that great at just £6.75) whilst overall at the course the trainer/jockey combo are 3/9 (LSP of £8.75) and he's been nibbled at already in the early trading on Betfair. Best price is 66/1 with Stan James and Victor Chandler
16:20 Kempton - Society Venue - Think this horse is overpriced in the finale at Kempton. He was placed in a couple of novices races over the summer behind Sir Frank at Market Rasen and made his handicap debut last time out at Wincanton, he was held up and stayed on well in the closing stages. I feel he'll be seen to better effect when when stepped up to 2 1/2m but if the ground remains fastish then he's definitely in with an each-way shout at 14/1.

| Old Pak Jack for me in the 1.30 @ 9/1 E/W
2nd in this last year to a decent horse four 2nd placed finishes over hurdles should go close, Dusky Bob looks good as well on bumper form.

According drifted and unplaced and the less said about Monty the better.

70/1 on Betfair for the both of them. Theres mega money waiting to be both backed and layed on Betfair on this single market. God knows where its all come from.
I hate stating the obvious but the favourite has a strong chance but I'll go for Harris Tweed or Profound Beauty both around 33's.

| Profound Beauty to place @ 7.8
Also backed at 30s with a lay in place given how well she can travel but not pick up sometimes.

Anyone would think Betfair didn't operate in Australia
You'll need to transfer money into your "Australian Wallet" to bet on the Flemington markets.
The Harris Tweed listed isn't the one we've been seeing over here btw it's a New Zealand-bred 4yo. Just in case there's any confusion

Holberg the best of the Europeans IMO and Precedence of the Aussie raiders providing it doesn't get too soft.
Tokai Trick would be a fun bet though

Listen Marble Loser
Im fully aware of Betfair in Australia, but Ive very rarely seen that volume of money waiting to be matched on a market. There was thousands at every price both on the back and the lay side. And a full 16 hours before the event started. Anyway Harris Tweed finished 5th so still nothing to collect !!

| Going to put 2 up today.
Firstly in the Haldon Gold Cup, i expect Somersby to be too good for the field.
A very classy individual and is very well in at the weights. Should run a decent race.
I also expect Imsingingtheblues to be on the premises, who was going very well at Aintree the other day in the Old Roan, before tipping up down the back straight.
Somersby to win, and Imsingingtheblues to place.
The other horse, is Court In Motion, who i know Emma Lavelle is very confident and excited about. He goes in the 4.35 at Exeter in a Novice Hurdle over 2 mile 5. Should be a good race for him and i expect him to get his head infront.

I was on Imsingingtheblues at Aintree and was encouraged with how he went until he came down so I'm expecting him to go well, I'll be on again. Expecting to see a big run from Twist Magic, Nicholls always has his horses at their peak for a run and I'd fancy a little each way, he'll run all day and could sneak into the places, he's good enough to win this one but he's never really reached his potential.
