According to Sky sources, Higgins and his manager have pleaded guilty to match fixing.
Don't know the details but if this is true then I see no option for the WSA other than to ban Higgins for life.
Massive blow for the sport's credibility, especially given the high profile of Higgins.

I'm surprised at that, maintained his innocence all the way through and was supposed to be going to argue the same again today. |

Seems that Higgins manager/advisor was more at fault and because of that has been banned from the sport for life. Higgins is not totally blameless and could have done a few things differently so a 6 month can seems fair.
