Find that one a bit strange mate when Carlito Brigante absolutely hammered it a couple of runs back! I can't see any possible or logical reason why alavain should turn those placings round such was the manner of the defeat?

Me too that why am on Carlito Brigante, Alaivan was 4/9F for that race Carlito Brigante was 20/1 the claim for the 11 length defeat was that Alaivan didnt settle but Cross Appeal was also well back in that race whos a Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 second horse so it was no fluke, Alaivan then wins easily last time out and gets made top dog for beating some half decent horses by 17 lengths, I like the look Carlito Brigante its a huge horse.

Bishopsfurze 16/1 for the bumper Mullins mentioned it in a video saying it reminded him of Cousin Vinny with the way it came strong from way back to win it, that was on soft/heavy ground that Mullins says it doesn't even like couldn't help but be impressed by it

Been talking to my Irish mate tonight, the one who told me about Get me out of here the other week and he says one of his mates owns one he strongly fancies for the bumper. He owns a few horses..Time Electric who was a strong fancy for the bumper a few years ago but missed Cheltenham...Some Present who came 2nd last year to Dunguib and more...

Anyway he reckons his Tavern Times is the best he's ever had and is well worth a few quid e/w at 14's...

Another one missing will be David Pipe's The Sliotar who had a number of entries at the Festival but has been found to be lame.

One of the main market movers this week would seem to have been the Paul Nicholls-trained Sanctuaire (Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle - Wednesday).

Now joint favourite with a number of bookmakers and as low as 7/1 having been gererally available at 10/1 at the beginning of the week. Hills 9/1 surely can't last much longer.

Is it just me that thinks Dunguib even at 4/5 is still good value.

For Any bigg-ish gambler, 500 quid on him, and you've got your betting money for the rest of the festival.

Tom Coopers horse has the beating of him on a line through Surfing - very good horse and Cooper had a hot favourite a few years ago in River Liane who burst and didn't handle the track. Well worth a good bet at 16's.
