10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

| Another night and another defeat for the leafs. After looking pretty good in preseason, we now look as bad as ever and no nearer to getting involved in aplayoff race.
Toskala is giving us problems between the pipes and looks dodgey and the PK was terrible last night.

Could the nordiques make a return to the NHL? It was mentioned on HNIC last night and mentioned here www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=294409
Would not be a bad thing imo to eventually have more teams in Canada. If I was BettmanI would be looking at Phoinex, Atlanta and possibly the preds as the teams to move.

| Hawks make history with one of the biggest come back wins in NHL history against the Flames.
5-0 down halfway through the 1st period the Hawks rallied to take the game to overtime, then score the game winner 26 seconds in to OT.

Wouldn't fancy being a Flames player after that

As I have a soft spot for the blackhawks I'm looking forward to seeing the highlights on NHL on the fly later. However, I'll have to leave the room when it gets to the leafs LOWlights from another terrible performance.

Even though I'm a Hawks fan the Leafs are a team I follow with interest. I think its going to be a very very very long season for the Leafs. You only have to look at their roster to see how weak it is, with no real stand out players and with only Toskala & Gustavsson in between the pipes goaltending isn't great either.
For me the Leafs no longer have a core of players who gave their all for the team like Tucker, Corson, Roberts, Domi etc even McCabe and each season they have fallen further behind as each player left, plus they haven't recovered from Sundin going or replaced him.
Ron Wilson needs to do some big rebuilding and try to trade but apart from Kaberle, Stajan & Kessel the rest of the roster is very poor.

| Another win for the Blueshirts. This time, a 7-2 battering of Toronto.
Not doing too bad at the moment. 5-1 and Tortorella has got them playing some good hockey. Made up for Stephen Valiquette the other night. First start for quite a while and he produces a shutout against Anahiem

| Hawks notch up another win 3-1 against Nashville at the Sommet .
The Predators are really struggling at the minute with only 13 shots on Huet??? This could also be down team defence & how the Hawks are playing as they currently lead the league with an average of just over 20 shots per game.

| Huets uncertain start to the season as the Hawks No.1 continues as he struggles in the Hawks 4-3 defeat in Dallas.
Will Quenneville look to make a move and possibly put Huet on waivers if they think another team would take him? Right now I seriously doubt any team would look at Huet who has been simply awful so far.
Think its time for Niemi to make a name for himself and give Crawford and good go while sorting Huet out. I admit Huet aint the greatest but he is a damn sight better than he has been playing so far this season.

| Minnesota Wild acquired right wing Chuck Kobasew from the Boston Bruins in exchange for right wing Craig Weller, the rights to right wing Alexander Fallstrom and a second-round draft choice in 2010.
