Probably Jake Humphries, who seems to be the rising star of the Beeb's sports department. I think he did their coverage from Wembley this season as well.

Mike Carlson and former Steeler Rod Woodson are the analysts IIRC but not sure who is doing the presenting...

He is bloody awful. Women's football is the right place for him.

As for the Superbowl. I haven't seen enough to really comment with authority on either team but I know enough about the sport to know that winning the big game usually requires a great defence. I'm struggling to think of the last Superbowl in which the team that won didn't have a very good defense.

Considering he probably isn't the most knowledgable person about the sport, I think that Jake Humphries has done a very good job when doing the coverage in the past. I was a bit apprehensive when I first first saw that he was presenting but I think I probably prefer him to Cadle and Halling on Sky Sports, especially given the fact that Carlson is on the BBC as well.

Didn't Da Bears have a much better defense than Indy in the 2006-07 season?

The only reason Da Bears made it into the playoffs in the 1st place, Interceptorus-Rex was at his best that year!

I seem to remember Indy's defense being on fire throughout the playoffs that year. They were getting gashed on the ground during most of the season and then underwent some sort of miraculous transformation at the start of the playoffs.

That miraculous change goes by the name Bob Sanders.
