Not really. I'm pretty sure that most of us, if we'd used that kind of language at work, would have been fired. If anything a two week fine of wages is getting off lightly. |

Anton Ferdinand used similar language and started the confrontation. No punishment whatsoever. The language that Terry and Ferdinand used is pretty much standard operating language between opponents. |

Just out of curiosity...why did Terry go to court but Suarez didn't? Was it because Evra made the complaint where as the complaint made about Ferdinand was by a member of the public/ off duty police officer iirc?
As for people getting on their high horse about people being racists...I'm pretty sure you will have all either told or been told a racist joke in the past. I assume that instead of laughing you immediately called them a racist and wish they be sacked from their place of work?
NB- I am not condoning what either have done/ said, just too many people are hypercritical in this world.
