| I haven't seen too much of him to be honest Peter. Saw him play last year in an academy game and he impresssed. I have heard that he's a better prospect than Sam and Joel were at his age, which as a Wigan and England fan is brilliant.

it's great news for any true RL fan TBH Cata - as a Saints fan I love watching young Sam and Joel play - Sam is a great player and will get better,it's a privelege to watch him and nice to meet him after the game in Montpellier where he was very polite and took the trouble to sign my programme and chat despite ending up on the losing side.Logan did look comfortable and seemed to have the one big asset all great sportsmen & women have and that's 'TIME' - he has quick hands and obviously a quick brain so the future is bright for Wigan and european RL with kids like him & Pelissier etc coming through

The All Black image has always been something they've fiercely protected - seems what with them allowing England to use an all black change kit in the RUWC and the move to coloured boots they're giving in to more commercial pressures.

| Stade Français beat Lezignan RL 32-28 in front of more than 4000 spectators. They changed their whole team every 10min and played with full body protection! FCL played with 8 juniors who by all accounts did very well.

| The news of Crusaders' troubles is hitting hard over on the ScrumV union forum.
'Run and wriggle has NO fan base what so ever. They try every few years and fail dismally every few years. People simply aren't interested in a cut down lobotomised version of a sport they actually enjoy. Its failed many times before and it will fail again.
The numbers speak for themselves - its just not a popular sport by any stretch of the imagination. Nobody will give a toss if the latest tackle 'n' twitch crap fails. The vast majority wouldn't even have heard of them in the first place!'
'Like most fickle fads it doesnt last 5 minutes. all that fancy fast loose talk about franchises and league academy to usurp union. what a load of marketing man drivel. oh well at least that hypocrite alfie will get a movie deal out of it.'
'I like RL but there just isn't the space for it in Wales.'
'Rugby League in Europe is a game that only interests the population of a few counties in north England. I dont think the Crusaders get much of a following, neither Catalans Dragons or Harlequins RL.'
'And yet another attempt at introducing Rugby League to the rugby union audiences of the South and football audiences of the North results in it's inevitable failure. I'm not one to say I told you so but...'

| You should remind them about the thriving Magners League and its sell out crowds Catalancs.
Or the stunning success of Celtic Warriors - the disappearing fifth "superclub" that went belly up in 2004.

I gave up a while back. Once I was 'outed' as a rugby league supporter it became virtually impossible to have a decent debate.
The ignorance (majority not total) on ScrumV is worryingly plentiful.
