had a email about free links to promotions and he is still setting up the game seems like he wants to push with the links to the bets etc then the poker but as i stated they may be new customers setting a account up if this poker game gets the go ahead i have told him 3rd august monday night 8pm buy ins at £2.20 starting chips 1500 and blinds go up every 6 mins so hopefully he will get back to me with some good news.

I've just had the worst tourney of my life.

First up, about 5 mins in, I had JQ off suit in the BB. 3 players called and I checked. The flop was 46J. I bet out half the pot and 2 folded and another called. The turn brought a Q. This time I bet the pot (which was about half my stack), again he called. River brought a K. I just checked and so did he. Turned out he had K4 off suit.

Then I was short stacked and got Ah10s. I limped in against 2 people. Flop was 2c 8h 10h. I went all in, one guy folded and the other called and turned over 4c7c. He then hit clubs on the turn and river.

I just had my biggest mare so far... was dealt pocket k so I raise couple calls couple fold.flop 10,10 2 great I raise again all fold apart from 1 turn 4 hmm big raise he calls again instantly so I start thinkin with no a on the board he is bluffing all in I go all in he calls I thinkin wtf HE WAS DEALT POCKET A WHATS THE FECKIN CHANCE OF THAT (bet he was laughing his head off) CRuel game poker btw I lost about 83 quid on that hand! Stick to play money I think....

If that was a live game I would have punched him.

Just had the most ridiculous hour of Pokerstars play in my life and i am now seriously considering moving on to Full Tilt or UltimateBet. In the last 4 18 manners i have been in i have bubbled twice. These were both to 3 outers on the river or turn. Ace Jack vs Queen Jack was shot down with a Queen on the turn, no other draws and Ace 9 vs Ace 4, 4 on the river again no draws. In the others ive been ed up the as well. Ace 10 vs Jack 10, flop comes i have a flush draw and he has nowt, he calls my all in and he hits a runner runner flush. The other tourney i cant remember the exact details but i remember i was ahead when the chips went in.

Its a hard call to make whether to move on or not as the site has the best range of tourneys available but the hands are very unrealistic at times, quads been a regular thing and back to back straight flushes in a heads up i had the other day. Also i requested the hand history and i got the email but a large amount of the hands seemed to have gone missing and the page is just blank which has heightened my suspsicions of foul play, the immediate hand history also stopped working around the 2nd donk out

Oragnized a big tourney at our cricket club saturday 40 people a 10£ buy in paying out to 4th let someone else work out the prize money lol. Unbelievable the amount of people wanting to play poker these days compared to 2 year ago i wouldnt of got 6 people lol

I emailed them to complain and just got a load of crap about how its all random. I would say at least 80% of the time when I go all-in I'm in front pre-flop and still in front on the turn and at least 60% of the time after that I get beaten on the river. Even to the point of having Aces against Ace King and he hit King on the turn and King on the river. I wouldn't mind but statistically I should be winning far more of these hands then I lose.

Lets say I go all-in 100 times.

20 times I have the worst starting hand and I win about 4 or 5 of those as you would expect.

80 times I have the best starting hand and of those 80 I win about 20-25 times and usually the other player only has 2 cards in the deck to hit and hits one or both of them. This only tends to happen when I'm all-in which suggests to me something is wrong with the programming or they want people out of tournaments quicker so they can spend more money by joining another tourney when they are out.

Probably sounds like sour grapes but the amount of bad beats on that site is ridiculous.

It's not as ridiculous as you think it is. Apparently the site was originally set up in Cuba with a somewhat murky background. I notice my beats seem to come when i build my stack to around $180, happened the last few times. Another theory is that the code is setup to create a bigger rake, more action = more money for the site. Don't know if you have noticed but there is almost always a draw on the flop

Only started playing poker this year and I can't get enough of it . I only play with my mates for a £5 buy in usually, but it's a good laugh and can get very addictive! (played 3 nights in a row last week ). I'd say im just an average player really, win some lose some, but practise makes perfect and I certainly get a lot of that!

I've stopped playing on PKR now as they wouldn't give me rakeback!

I've moved across to Full Tilt with 27% rakeback and i'm enjoying it so far! The game is alot quicker and there's alot more choice.

Is anyone using hold'em manager? I've started using it to track my hands and I've got some really useful stats already about where I'm going wrong! It should improve my game alot.

I'm going well in my live games at the moment, up £200+ over the last two weeks and I've not played anything more than £5 buy ins and a £0.50/£1.00 cash game

First hand of a tourney. I get AA, guy goes all in with 55, I call. he hits the 5 on the flop. Shortest tourney of my life.

3 times in the same tourney I had Ace Queen busted by Ace rag (twice by a straight to the kicker) after going all in pre-flop.
