Yesterday confirmed to me that I am actually addicted to this site - so many gripping emotions and pain not been able to post for 1 day. Have to be honest mate I made the genuine mistake of forgetting twice during the day and logging in (once was first thing when I was still half-asleep and logged in out of pure habit), but each time I remembered within 30 seconds or so and logged out, without viewing any threads or posting, so I practically managed it.
Re The Rock, I remember Mick Foley saying in a shoot interview about 7 years ago that he was told by Vince that WWE would also be a personal playground for Foley and Rock, i.e. somewhere they could leave and return to whenever they wanted. Obviously this has changed now for Foley since he went to TNA, but still appears to apply to Rock. Therefore I reckon any appearances will be set out to suit him and his movie work I bet. In an ideal world he will try and help get young guys over to really contribute to the company, but if he just has fun and then destroys Cena at Mania I'll be happy. Saying that, I have seen a Raw segment from Monday involving him, Kozlov, Khali, and Hornsgle, and it was absolutely cringeworthy. I pray for the day that WWE stops hiring f'ing TV writers and replaces them with wrestling bookers like Cornette but it's probably not going to happen whilst Vince is running the ship (or even when HHH takes over cos I know Stephanie is into all the comedy bollox). The only cool part of that segment was the appearance of Ron Simmons.

As for TNA I think it is no where near polished as WWE and yes the fact they cameras focus seem unable to stay in one place for more that 0.5 seconds sometimes makes my head spin but I still get the impression the wrestlers themselves have a hell of a lot more input then they do in the WWE.
I did have a bit of a blone moment whilst I was watching Impact this week though.
When Bully Ray said that he had carried his partner for years I couldn't for the life of me think who he was talking about
Bet Matt Hardy hasn't.

| OMFG, think I've just seen the sickest chair shot of my life. Search 'JBL slams a folding chair over Eddie Guerrero (BLOODY)' on that popular video sharing website. Must warn anyone though it is very nasty, and if you're sensitive to serious juicing it is probably best avoided.

| yeah eddie nearly passed out from that, it was his idea, despite the fact he was champ he was feeling the pressure of being locker room leader, 'kurt angles' smackdown was stinking out the place following the draft, (rene dupree and kenzo suzuki as a tag team, The Dudley, luthor reigns and mark jindrak "the reflection of perfection" oh and charlie haas and rico as well, which actually wasnt that bad)
so eddie juiced the out of himself thinking it would get attention.

TBH, I'm not sure he meant to juice that badly. I think it's more the fact of the edge of the chair hitting him that does it.

Might get this slightly incorrect factually here, but it goes something like:
It's 2004 in WWE, Matt Hardy & Lita are on on-screen (and off-screen) item. One of them has to take time off due to injury, leaving the other one still on the road touring. Lita starts a real-life affair with Adam 'Edge' Copeland (who is married at the time). By pure coincidence WWE starts an angle where Kane forces Lita into an affair with him, and he gets her pregnant (in the storyline). However, news breaks across the net of Lita's real-life affair with Edge. This turns the fans against both (both were babyfaces at the time IIRC), and overnight they are huge heels because of their real-life situation. Matt Hardy speaks out against both on the internet. WWE, fearing Hardy will try to attack Edge on WWE premises, fires Hardy from his contract. Therefore, Hardy is effectively punished even though it was Edge and Lita having the affair. this turns fans even more against the cheating couple and more support builds for Matt hardy. Eventually WWE brings Hardy back and they turn the whole thing into an angle. Edge is christened 'The Rated R Superstar' on the back of it, becomes the top heel in the company (with Lita by his side on-screen and off), Hardy jobs out to him, and Edge goes on to be a huge main-eventer, winning MITB, then the WWE title.
Hardy and Edge therefore managed to put aside their real-life hatred for the benefit of business, but I would guess that Hardy still resents both to this day (in real-life he spoke about wanting to marry Lita, have a family etc).
Think that's about it, apologies if have made odd inaccuracy (has been 6-7 years already since it happened ).
