I think the main difference between the Rooney incident and Babels brain fart is that the Rooney incident was a heat of the moment thing. He was most definitely in the wrong and got a booking for his troubles but has probably got away with it in the main due to it having been in the heat of the battle. You really can't compare the two incidents if truth be told.

I think Lescott is one of those players that needs to be playing every week to stay sharp both physically and in terms of his decision making. He made a sluggish start at City, then for a couple of months played very well, but then had a couple of injuries and has never re-found any form. He may have been a better full back at Everton but when he's played there for City he's looked very uncomfortable. |

On the whole Rooney rant etc etc etc watch the Gerrard red card from the other week. Webb has Torres, Agger, Reina (remember this was on the half way line), Lucas and Auralio all crowding him having a full blown whinge, so when do they receive there FA charges?
Oh and as Gerrard is leaving the pitch he says something aimed at the nited fans that is ether "**** off you manc ****'s" or "**** off you Munich ****'s" being that horrible crease head it'd probably be the latter

Pienaar though, is a 28 year old midfielder who has probably already reached his peak....He certainly doesn't seem to have any more potential for improvement....He isn't getting any quicker and I don't see him being any better than what Spurs already have.
As I said before, I think its another classic case of Redknapp being unable to restrain himself during a transfer window....He signs players for the sake of it, agents must adore him...

Carragher, Torres, Reina, Terry, and co do it most weeks.Funny how you've never mentioned anything before. It isn't a widge measuring contest. One was worthy of action, one wasn't. The FA tend to agree. It's that simple. The fact that not many of the media have picked up on it suggests it ain't that big a deal also. Unless you're a bitter, jealous LFC fan riddled with ABU syndrome of course. Let's agree to disagree and move on. |

hearing on Talksport from Martin Allen (QPR,WHU,Pompey etc) who was at the Spurs training ground last week reported that a black Smart Car pulled up at the car park amid the Porsches,BMWs,Jags,Mercs etc who appeared from it,none other than Benoit Assou Ekotto ! Thinking the car was just for fun the presenters
ie Allen & Danter etc took the p**s something rotten saying that it must have been a courtesy car cos' the Porsche was in for repair etc anyway,the player phoned in to say it was his actual car,the one he used daily as it was easy & practical to drive around busy London etc
