| Just dont put 3.45pm like Martin says.
You might want to put 4.15pm instead.

| I was on about this to a guy at work yesterday who doesn't really follow the horses like me. He asked what time the race was and I said it's usually about 3.45, after then checking I found it to be 4.15 and wondered if I had been mistaken about past races or whether they have changed it this year?
Anyone know?
And for the record I'm all over Comply Or Die, think David Pipe is a real chip off the old block and has laid this one out perfectly for a crack at it again. Also backed Darkness and a little e/w on Knowhere.

| Here we go - I'm not the Bet Maverick so not ty each way bets for me.
Had a discussion with a mate of mine last night about backing "value" selections ie. those that are bigger than they should be during which he said "you can't eat value", if that were the case then Tesco wouldn't make "Value Sandwiches" Value is the future
14:00 Silk Hall (e/w)
14:35 Or Jaune (e/w) - massive step up in class but has won his last three and goes on the ground
15:10 Tidal Bay (e/w) - shocking ride last time out and won round here before
15:45 Irish Raptor (e/w) - good course form including in this race 12 months ago and is around the 12/1 mark
15:45 Frankie Figg (e/w) - trainer has a good record at getting one ready for the big fences (Theatre Knight, Bewleys Berry and Bestofthebrownies have all run well over them) and at 40/1 he represents some value on his first attempt, the same goes for stablemate Ellerslie George at 50/1.
16:20 According To Dick (e/w) - point to point winner in Ireland last year and made an impressive start to his career in the UK at Cheltenham before going down when 8/13 at Exeter. Back on track of late and the step up in trip and ground are sure to suit.
16:55 Liberate (e/w) - very tentative selection as the race looks potentially wide open, the JP horse is the one to beat as he looks to have been plotted up for this but the price reflects that.
17:30 Liss Na Tintri (e/w) - very highly regarded mare of John Kiely's who was as short as 12/1 for the Champion Bumper prior to her racecourse debut, she let her followers down that day but got it right at the second time of asking and it may pay to follow her given the hard race the favourite had at Cheltenham.
Good luck all
Martin

Nothing strange about it, Barry rides the Henderson horse's.
The horse won 11 out of 23 in France including finishing 3rd in the grand steeplechase, it raced at Cheltenam coming back from injury and it's back leg flew off.
For the National it carry's 10-11 and is age 10, the horse has never won over 4 mile and only won twice over 3 mile and it prefers soft ground.
Lump on it i say @ 66/1.

| Voy Por should win the Melling Chase, however, i think Briareus could suprise a few people at 20/1 for a place.
Will like the track, distance will be fine, should go well today.

| Also, Herecomesthetruth.
Lovely looking horse, very, very fast jumper, could be something special this lad i think. Short price, 15/8 maybe 2/1 if you can get it, but should win.

| 14:00 American Trilogy had a great win at Cheltenham and is a previous C&D winner at Aintree, Ruby on board and should win. However i fancy a horse at a big price and E/W value, the horse bypassed Cheltenham and goes well on the flat tracks, although his age goes against it im willing to take a gamble and go with Alfie Flits.
14:35 Another horse for Ruby that should win, Im however going for the Value today just like Martin so im plumping with Seigemaster, this horse ran in the RSA chase at the festival and fell, the fences at Aintree are a little easier than Cheltenham and if he can stay up, should go close.
15:10 Some decent horses in this race and i don't think Voy Pur will win it, although it has C&D form and needed the run, Imperial Commander steam rolled him at the festival and i think this race may come to soon, Tidal Bay and Schindler's Hunt warrant E/W interest but against my better judgment im going with AP on Nacarat.
15:45 is an open race and some big odds are available, i backed Ping Pong Sivola at the festival and it finished 2nd with a massive gap to the 3rd horse, im taking it again today.
16:20 Karabak and Weapons Amnesty deserve some respect but again for the value im going with Pause and Clause, it finished 3rd in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham and although this is a step up in trip im confidant it will be sound, finished in the first 3 in the last 6 races.
Good Luck all in whatever you back.

Henderson only has two Horse's in the National and the other Fleet Street is worse than your pick, so out of the two horse's he picked the right one.
What other choice did he have
