Bromley were promoted for about 30 seconds on Saturday but Hampton banged a couple in to seal the championship with a win over Slough.

AFC Norbiton are at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night for a play-off fixture. I can’t make it, but I imagine the ----s will lose. The match is all ticket which I’d guess is a first for a Bromley home fixture.

They always have been the worst supported club in the league, even when I used to watch them almost twenty years ago.

TBH it's not surprising. St Helens is a rugby league town and the local-ish football teams are Everton and Liverpool.

I'm surpirised they haven't got into financial difficulties though. How do they a profit and pay wages?

Kettering are meant to be bringing 3-400 fans to Throstle Nest.

TBH though their games are not very well publicised in and around the town are they?

Town have got themselves in financial difficulties on numerous occasions.

Every time they build up a team that looks like challenging at the top end of the table they end up having to release the lot of them.

They even won the FA Vase in 1987 then three months later there wasn't a single player of that team still at the club.

Mismanagement amongst the Town board is legendary.

I'll be surprised if they don't take voluntary relegation to the St. Helens Combination and end up playing on a local park within the next few years.
