like to play as regular as possible both live and online. cant play the facebook thing nor play money as poker isnt real poker unless there is proper money on the table. I use Pokerstars and its a pretty good site, biggest in the world apparently with shed loads of tourneys and SNG's going off regularly plus games and Omaha(my personal favorite) available. Would definately reccomend it, even though ive been running as cold as the antarctic ocean recently!!!

Been told to try Ultimatebet as they apparently have 110% sign up bonus plus its ment to be full of donks!!

Also in response to the guys who arent fans of online, you need to realise online poker is a completely different game to standard poker, its all about betting patterns and picking you hands exceptionally carefully. If theres enough interest we could try get a private tourney up and running?

I played with Skypoker when online however i've recently vowed never to play on there again. Try to play live as much as possible as i prefer it but it's down to usually once a week atm.

I taped the world cup poker on sky a few days ago but was really disappointed with the line-ups, Vicky Coren team captain for us!

I've currently got the third highest chip count in a freeroll on Full Tilt. 4373 entrants and now down to 343. The prize is the last table recieve a copy of Mike Matusows autobiography and the winner gets a signed copy.

Bet thats an interesting read!! am working me way through an online poker book at the moment which is pretty good, also getting tips off a mate who has effectively gone pro playing 4-5 hours a day and earning double the money he did in his old job!!

Tried to join SkyPoker but while they would let me put money in they wouldn't let me play online, i could take a seat but would get booted. Overall an extremely unsatisfying venture

Well a Matusow style melt down saw me finish 44th. I was about 20th and went all in with with a pair of 6's. Got called by a guy with AJ and he hit the ace on the turn.

And you're right it would have been an interesting read. I'm a bit disappointed really.

to start with i couldnt play it i was rubbish i just called everything and lost almost everytime.

i have since got into it abit play on myspace got about 250,000 chips now though just play touneys its free i play the 25,000 chip ones i won one and it took my tally upto about 250,000 its fun though. it does sometimes really pee me off when you have one of those really unlucky nights when you cant even win with an A A hand.

I just went all in with AK and a guy with A10 called me. I hit the ace high straight on the flop and so he got his pair of tens. J on the turn and again on the river to give him full house.

played the 30k last night on pokerstars, monied in a creditable 399th of a 4000+ field. had aces early and they held for once to get me strong for a while but the hands dried up after the 1st hour and it took me playing very aggresive in position to steal my way into the money. anyone else moved over to pokerstars?

Split pot, no bad thing. If that's your worst bad beat then count yourself lucky, come back when you lose with quads or a straight flush (I've done the later not the former).

In the tournement I mentioned above I was chip leader at one point and then it fell apart. First I had AA and got beat by a straight. I then had AK and a guy went all in, I called and he had AA, needless to say it held up for him. This reduced me to about 5,000 chips with an avarage chip count of 9,000. I then scraped around for a bit picking up a few small hands and then the straight/full house incedent happened. I had monied in my previous three tournements before this (I came 74th and it was top 40 to get payed, 250 approx entrants). The other night I made the final table (7th) in a guranteed $4000 tourney to get a couple of hundred £.
