They can focus on building him there and making him into a star. At a time when you have the part timers coming in and taking over air time I think it can be detrimental to the product. The roster isnt as strong as it once was, but lets see what some of the talented guys can actually do in the spotlight and build the company from there again.

WWE's roster isn't strong enough to support 2 world titles and 2 secondary titles. And tbf does anyone actually care about the world title?

To me, since I have started watching again, the WHC feels more like the IC used to be. That being said, Ziggler is my favourite on the roster (along with Punk) and he deserves his chance to be at the top.

probs because the wwe title is all the longer term wrestling fans known as the top belt within the brand, a new belt, such as the whc, is always gonna struggle to have much prestige.

i remember when the intercontinental title was a big deal, shame to see it being decided on a pre-card, feels like the US title does now...

But that's exactly my argument. Titles have so little meaning any more, pretty much due to over expanded ppv schedule and the need to put on a show every month and the merry-go-round that caused for titles.

should just be the few ppv's like there used to be; royal rumble, wrestlemania, summerslam and survivor series.

at least then, there would be some build up to the fueds and could look forward to some decent matches with unpredictable outcomes.

now, with a ppv every month, you can predict what will happen just by having one eye on the following month's event.

the main belts being on the line every show does the credibility no good either. its either that or some awkwardly thrown together tag team match

but, like everything else in the world nowadays, the ppv situation is fuelled by corporate greed at the expense of the product, therefore alienating the fans.

Typical WWE creative Ziggler wins to a MASSIVE pop and its clear the crowd want a face turn but WWE refuse to alter their plans.

It used to be the case that the writers took their cues from the crowd but now they pay the crowd no notice with a 'We know better idiots' mentality. You only have to look at Zack Ryder to see that point.
