| Quote: ST_CONROY "In the draft we have numerous options.
We are going to 3-4 so we need a nose tackle so i'd take B. J. Raji at 9.
We need a corner, defensive end, and rush linebacker also.
I'd quite like a RB, Grant was ineffective last year and Moreno is a beat. Not going to happen though.'"
You never know what might happen in the draft.

| I'm not a big follower of college football, so if I tell you what we need, how's about you wise folk give me some options?!?!
MLB - Stephen Cooper is a beast, but next to him is very ordianary. Dobbins is ok against the run. Wilhelm is gash against the run and slightly less gash in coverage. Waters has done nothing after being highly rated 2 years ago. I hear good things about Rey Maluaga (that spelling is so far off it's not even funny! I think he's at USC). What do you think of him?
OT / G - I said it all last season, our line was w*nk. McNeill and Hardwick came of injuries, so they can be forgiven to an extent and they should prove their worth. Dielman was the one performer. Goff is gone I think and Clary is never an elite, or even good tackle in the memory of man. If we could draft a decent RT that would give the option of moving Mr Clary to G and see if he's any better there. Ideally though I want to see a brand new right side. From what I've heard Duke Robinson is a beast that could be picked up mid-low first round.
SS - Clinton Hart is rubbish. He's a safety that wears a neck brace. No further comment required.
RB - Surely not. If the team let LT go, then they must draft a RB. Sproles cannot do what LT does. In an ideal world they'll both stay and I won't even worry about the position until the time LT packs it in, but who knows. The ideal outcome - LT signs a resturctured deal and Little Darren stays. To do that though the Chargers will probably have to franchise Sproles.

| If anyone here has a level 30+ DE/DT on Goal Line Blitz, the team I own desperately needs help there.
Apparantly, the 49ers have not ruled out a move for Mike Vick.

Tampa- No.
Cleveland- Brady Quinn? Derek Anderson?
I can only see him at San Francisco or if Wierd Al takes an interest maybe Oakland.

| Vick is coming back into the league as damaged goods. If he's prepared to swallow his pride he might get a gig somewhere as a backup (Jacksonville, for example) and earn the right to be a starter again.
Alternatively he might just walk away from football altogether.

I never rated his as a player personally. He was a poor passer IMO and just a decent runner.
Somebody is stupid enough to pick him up as starter.

As a Falcons fan, he fitted right into the way we played at the time as we didn't really have anyone for him to throw to, Crumpler apart.
As a football fan, he was absolute fun in a can to watch. Players like that put backsides on seats and cash in owners pockets.
Mora Jr was working really hard with him up to the point he got shown the door on getting the fundamentals in place and his passing game was improving drastically. I'd have loved to have seen how he would have gone with the current crop of receivers we have to throw to.

I agree. He was entertaining to watch but not the kind of player i would want at Green Bay. I'd rather have a conventional passer.

The difference is you entertain yourselves in Green Bay by winning championships or throwing snowballs at each other - us Falcons fans have to get our entertainment wherever we can

| Trade him to Detroit, then the Lions can get a OT in the draft, but knowing them, they will draft Michael Crabtree!

| Suggs given the franchise tag by the Ravens.
Sproles given the tag by the Chargers.
Is it the end for LT?

No as it looks like the Chargers are working on a deal to keep him ( as they should do ).

Nah...he's on the downward spiral. Somebody would give them a first round pick (and more), i'd take that for a season or two before he is done like Alexander.
