I'd say its now between Mayweather and Ward.'"
Well Money May and Pac but I'd have him above Pac for sure. He should move to LHW. To be fair Dawson did look a bit dead at the weight. A rematch at LHW or a fight with Hopkins next wouldn't srprise me, although I'd like to see him fight Andre Dirrell, he's the only one who can match Ward in terms of talent at 168, although I'm not sure he's got the heart required. Assuming Clev wins his next fight he should go for Dawson.

| Hopkins won't fight Ward. Pretty sure he's said so. Ward is IMO level with Mayweather right at the top of the game. Incredible all round boxer, and a dirty get to go with it.
What did we make of Bellew's performance?

| The only problem with Ward, from a boxing fan's point of view, is that he is too good and so his fights are going to become predictable, one-sided affairs, leading to accusations that he and the sport are boring.
Look at his record already - He has already fought and outclassed the only other two credible SMW's (Froch and Kessler), and now he has schooled a light heavyweight champion, who himself was rated in the top 10 p4p fighters!!
He's definitely a huge talent and good to watch, but he's that good, we might end up with a Klitchsko-type domination of the SMW/LHW division, leading to it becoming quite dull.

| What did I make of Bellew? Bloody frustrating.
Miranda was allowed to fight at his own pace for way too long.

....No, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!.....It can only go one way and that's disaster.
What exactly is he hoping to acheive??.....At his peak, he fell short of top quality, so I can't see him reaching World level again and I see little point of him coming back, unless both he and Amir Khan are looking for an easy way of making big cash by having a domestic tear-up?

Maybe he fancies finally ending Witter? He'll be coming back at 147lbs so there's a rematch with Malinaggi who's now WBO champ. I'd like to see him fight Bradley, he's not a big puncher and I'd still give Hatton a very good chance of winning.

| Blimmin 'eck, this will be....interesting at least! I will definitely watch a Hatton comeback but he was looking old and over the hill due to his constant fluctuation in weight, in his latter career (1st time). There is a genuine route to a world title with Malinaggi though, I think Hatton's style is kryponite for him.

| £45 and up to watch a bloke who hasn't fought for three years against an unnamed opponent?
Pie shops across the north west must be rubbing their hands.

| Khan has sacked Freddie Roach.
No real surprise, I expect him to hire Nazim Richardson.

He can hire who he wants, but if he continues to believe he is Mike Tyson once the bell goes, then he will continue to get himself knocked out.
Khan needs to see that it is he who is the problem and not the trainer - Are we expected to believe that Roach advised him that going toe-to-toe with heavy punchers, would be a wise move??

Yep, fair play to him for wanting to give the fans entertining fights but he simply can't keep going to to war or he'll end up on the scrap heap well before 30. However I do think Roach is an overrated trainer and Khan hasn't really improved under his tuition. Yes, he holds his hands up more and moves a bit better but thats about it., his jab has also improved, but he's always had a decent jab. Coincidentally, Chavez jnr took a bit of a leathering for 11 rounds against Martinez (hard to beleive he's 37, and only started boxing in his mid 20s), that means his 3 main fighters have all lost this year.
Personally, if I was Khan I'd hire Manny Steward, Steward knows how to get fighters to usetheir natural attributes to full effect. He's very good with tall fighters in particular. Whatever happens the next few months for Khan are crucial, another bad defeat and his career will be hanging by a thread if it isn't already. Oh and apprantly he could be fighting Lucas Matthysse next (32W (30KOs), L 2). Matthysse is arguably the best in the division right now and is a huge puncher. It would be a massive risk for Khan, fair play to him if he fights him.

A good shout, but absolutely no chance of it happening, considering Khan is looking for somebody who can dedicate themselves 100% to him.
