| Is Neil Lennon any better than John Barnes was?
I get the feeling if he wasn't so unpopular with everyone else (and hence popular with the Celtic lot) he'd be at risk of the sack given how far behind Rangers they are and how he couldn't manage to usurp them despite them not buying a player for years before this season.

| Quote: Captain13 "Now youve said that i can see Hibs winning 3-1... mark my words. Hey, whenever you's get any kind of result either of the old firm will benefit!
i had a similar jinx when going to ibrox between 2005 and 2007 (about 10 games in a row without seeing them win) mind you having said that im a champs lge gloryhunter
What I'd give for Sproule to come up with another performance like that at some point this season, never mind against your lot!
What are people's thoughts on the 'Friday Night Football' experiment by the way? Hibs' game away to Motherwell in December has been switched to the Friday so it basically means having to drive up to the game and get back in the early hours rather than a leisurely day on the pop on the train. Certainly wouldn't want to see it becoming a regular thing for that reason alone.

Christ, in that sense its a downer for you, having said that, Fir Park is easier for you, its shaving a few miles off going over to 'Auld Reekie"!! as you're aware if sky say we play at midnight on a Tuesday then so be it, we (the SPL) tried to hoodwink sky into more money in 2000 (even though the English werent watching the matches barring the OF games) and got their fingers burnt and ended up with peanuts off setanta and the BBC, so its 'touch yer toes time' for the SFA the money is key!!
its got me wondering, i think the last old firm game on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm was in 1998 when we won 2-0 at ibrox.. crazy what money has done
The old firm game on a friday night in late March looks a cert..

It isn't being moved for TV coverage, they're just trying something different - Aberdeen-Dunfermline was shifted last month and a got an above-average crowd.
What Rantic do benefit from is that, bar the OF games, 99% of home games are 3pm on a Saturday, whereas we've had the delights of 12pm on Saturday's and Sunday's etc, which are an absolute pain to get to.
Usually go on the train to Motherwell but we have to change at Glasgow these days whereas a couple of years ago there used to be a direct service from/to Wigan, so we could have a couple of pints in Motherwell before getting the train back and still be in the Moon for half 8!

Jags seem to have hit the slippery slope mate.
Plenty of goals again for the Lichties.
Looks a straight gunfight between us and '[ibeath[/i at present.
Long way to go yet.

| Decent point against the Mechanics mate. There doing the pace-setting in your league.
92nd minute winner for our boys.
We'll take it.
Lichties and The Blue Brazil pulling well clear in Div II.

Two I believe. Think it's the Champions then the next three places play-off with the second bottom placed team in Div 1.
Think bottom of Div I is automatically relegated.
