Good point that. How has he taken a treble winning team to 6th in serie a? Is it the owners?

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| EE is right about Newcastle; it could be a brave decision if they get the right man in. If they don't think Hughton is their man long term, no sense is leaving him in place any longer than necessary. However, it does of course depend on getting the right man in. If it is a Jol or an O'Neill then it's probably a brave, correct decision. If they get Pardew then for the first time in my life, I have genuine sympathy for Newcastle United supporters.*
*as opposed to the comic sympathy that's natural.

He's obviously struggled in Italy, but Inter have had quite a lot of injuries, which have resulted in Rafa having to change formation/style quite a bit. Still, injuries aren't an excuse for poor results, they have the best squad in Italy and should be doing a lot better.
I think he'll do well if they keep him there, but it's obvious that taking over a side that's just been coached by Mourinho wasn't a great idea. As I've mentioned before, Mourinho is a massive psychological coach, he works so hard on developing the us versus them mentality, whilst he also creates a 'family' mentality amongst his teams, where they'll run through brick walls for their coach. I'm not saying Rafa couldn't develop that or the players don't have faith, it's just that Rafa is the complete opposite, a purely footballing coach who has no relationship with his players and distances himself from any kind of non-professional relationship. Still, if he doesn't win Serie A, he should deem his season as a failed one, unless he wins the CL.

What do you think of Pastore at Palermo?

Last night was one of Anderson's best game for United. He was fantastic.
It's disappointing how wasteful Berbatov and Nani were, against a better side we would have been punished. Smalling was very shaky when he came on, it's essential that we keep Vida and Rio fit for the majority of the season.
Carrick had an absolute 'mare. We need to get a new CM in January ideally.

Do you know much about this Defour we seem to be constantly linked with?

4652.gif I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.

World class. I managed to spot a few videos of him in his Huracan days, thought he was the perfect '10' back then, couldn't believe he went under the radar of so many big clubs.

Send him to Newcastle for a decentish fee.

Kind of taken on Palermo as my italian team through them being on ESPN so often. Like the look of them, and also interested in the history of the Mafia which kinda coincides with the Sicilian outift. The blonde left back look's half decent as well. Was Miccoli as benfica?

Only what I've read and heard from other people. His main asset seems to be his passing, which is what we need, especially as Scholes can't play every week / many more years.
