| Washington are out after losing in 4 games to Tampa and Detroit and Philly could soon follow as both are 3-0 down in their series.

Saw the sad news this morning!!! The guy was only 28.
He seemed a real genuine guy to and set up his charity 'Boogaard Booguardians' that looked after kids and families from the armed forces and hosted them at Rangers games. Hell of an old school style enforcer too.

| Canada has got a new NHL team with news that the Atlanta Thrashers have new owners and they're moving the team to Winnipeg.
It's probably too late for next season but there's no way a Winnipeg team will keep playing in the East so in 2012 they'll move to the West with a team going the other way.Early favourites to go to the East are Detroit but that would split up the Wings/Blackhawks rivalry.I'd move Columbus as they're still a young franchise and they could build up a rivalry with Pittsburgh as Ohio's NFL teams don't like the Steelers.

No brainer for me when Winterpeg move to the West and that is to simply swap them with Nashville. Breaking up the Hawks/Redwings divisional rivalry is unthinkable. Pleased to see NHL back in Winnipeg wonder if the Jets will return? They've already sold over 4000 season tickets first day on sale.
As for the battle for Lord Stanley i'm hoping for a Bruins win in 6.

| This is what was being said in Denver a few weeks back when the Winnipeg move first broke: Winnipeg join the Canucks, Flames, Oilers and Wild to make a new North West division.
Dallas moves to take the place of the Thrashers and the Avs move to the Pacific division taking the Stars place. Makes a bit of sense but it would mean the Stars would be the only team in the East not playing in the same time zone.

| Bruins tie series at 2-2, with another tough physical display shutting out the Canucks 4-0.
Wonder if Luongo's head is starting to go. Peverleys 1st goal was a beaut and staright through Luongo's 5 hole. For a team that has all been about speed all season the Canucks seemed to be outpaced and skated by the Bruins who really seem to have the got into the series. Great game in all with end to end action and plenty of hitting.
All to play for now, just hope the Bruins can keep up the heat and even turn it up a little more on the Canucks
