What about difference in position. QB's would/should be worth more than another position even if taken in the same spot.

Maybe a rookie cap should be introduced as a maximum amount with the ability to earn on top when hitting targets. So Stafford would say trigger a payment for reaching 3000 yard and 10 TD's etc?

I agree with giving them incentives/targets to hit but that may lead to arguments about teams not playing people in order to stop payments/bonuses!

On the other hand it will give the players something to aim for and improve not that they should need it.

Just been looking at the stats and i'm suprised to see that Ryan Grant has the second most carries in the league (209) after S-Jax with 215.

He's been pretty average but i thought he'd carried much less than that.
