| Quote V For Vendetta="V For Vendetta"I just don't see the Jets beating the Colts imo, though if they did, would I be right in saying Sanchez would be the first rookie QB to take a team to the superbowl?'"
Yes, apparently he'll be the first as a Rookie. Marino and Roethlisberger both made it in year 2.
I was suprised more by the Chargers last night than the Jets, SD were pretty poor and Rivers was erratic (credit to NYJ for that to be fair). I still don't think they have enough to beat Indy.

| The Jets doing well does not surprise me in the slightest. Good across the board on defence. Good Offensive line and running game. Good head coach. As Sanchez develops they will only become more balanced. Add one maybe two more aerial threats to the Jets offense and they could dominate the AFC East in years to come.

Chargers in the second game. Excellent offence and although i'm not sure about defence they will have more than enough to beat NYJ. Revis can only cover one man and the rest of the defence will struggle with the other players. If the Jets get behind then Sanchez will struggle to try and win it.'"

He's tipped us to lose again next week too....Superbowl here we come!!!
I thought last night was an object lesson in patience and staying true to your gameplan from the Jets and the pressure on both offence and defence paid off in the long run. Can't see them changing the approach for the Colts as its got us this far and the Colts run defence isnt hugely impressive (statistically at least) but it did keep the Ravens very quiet this weekend. I would safely predict that the Colts will not be anywhere near as ill-disciplined as the Chargers were last night too!

I think the colts D are a very underestimated bunch. They seem to have a knack of producing when it matters. I think Manning will handle the Jets blitz well next week. He seems to do well against blitzing teams because it leaves his receivers in one on one situations. I could be wrong but i think the jets in Indianapolis are a good match up for the Colts personally.

I agree whole heartedly with that quote, they dont tend to get the credit they deserve.
If we can keep a better handle on Dallas Clark than we did on Antonio Gates in the 1st half yesterday then I think the rest of the Colts receivers could be up against it.
Loving this photo from yesterday too...

Its vastly better than the run defence the Colts had when they won the thing! And keeping the Ravens touchdownless (if thats a word) is easy
It'll be far from a walkover (Conference title games never are) but I can't see Manning making the same errors Rivers did.
Still, Ryan saying the Jets are good for the Super Bowl, everyone mocked.......

To be fair to the big man he said after we got beat by the Falcons that this squad of players is good enough to win a superbowl, I don't think he expected it to be this one though from the position we were in then!! He does makes good copy though and he's certainly caused a stir in his first year in the Big Apple and seems to have everyone onside and pulling in the right direction...I don't know how to cope with it having a real-life challenging team for once!!

| It'd be karmic justice if the Jets beat Indy again after them only getting into the play-offs because Indy played dead that week.

Defence and great ground attack, the recipe for success in New York(although we kinda went to the air this year)

| The Jets in the AFC title game just goes to show again that a turd can be polished once in a while
I am hoping whoever wins the NFC title game wins the SB now, my 2 most hated teams in the AFC game
