| Quote El Pac Carnegie="El Pac Carnegie"Be interesting to see if he scoops any awards. Surely Chris Johnson has to get the OPOY? Manning probably MVP'"
Drew Brees has to be a candidate for both surely?

I thought about him but he has been some what hit and miss this season, getting bailed out by his D. He may very well win one of them but for me Johnson has been nothing short of outstanding on a team that was an embarrassment for the first 6 weeks. Manning will win the MVP if the Colts go 16-0, he is the most marketable player in the NFL after all is said and done

| Just checked Brees stats and he is having a lot better season that i thought! Even better than his last couple. I'll change my prediction to Manning or Brees dependant on which one goes 16-0 and OPOY as Johnson

| With three divisional games, and Denver at home (who, knowing our luck, will get themselves out of their little funk they're in around that time), Colts won't go unbeaten.
If somehow we end up 14-0, then all that can stop a 16-0 is the AFC East, namely the Jets and Bills.
And ironically, its not Manning winning us these close games, its the defence. Same as Brees really...

| Quote El Pac Carnegie="El Pac Carnegie"Why would him playing for a different team make a difference? He gets more national coverage than most playing for GB than at a lot of teams.
For me it's between Woodson, Harrison or my early pick Dumervil.'"
I just think it's doubtful they would give a player from Green Bay it. It generally goes to the most high profile player on the most high profile team. Jared Allen has a shout but most of his sacks were against us (8.).
I think it should be:
MVP: Drew Brees
OPOY: Aaron Rodgers (if we make the playoffs. If not Chris Johnson)
DPOY: Charles Woodson
OROY: Percy Hervin
DROY: Jarius Byrd

| Steven Jackson for OPOY maybe? Having a phenomenal season for someone with such an awful team.

Would love to see it happen but can't imagine it. Both he and Chris Johnson have been brilliant considering the way their teams have gone.
Is that just a hint of bias i see from you Conroy? You putting 2 GB players down as players of the year makes me wander how you have managed to drop 4 games!

Why do you always come out with such bias comments, makes you look daft. I remember in 2007 when you listed McCarthy as coach of the year, Favre as MVP and Kampman as defensive player of the year.
