| Phil Taylor will probably win all the majors this year. Jelle Klaasen is a wildcard for the Premier League.

James Wade didn't seem to have a problem in the worlds and he got pretty far. Adams is well capable of hitting more than a 90 average.

| At Davey Lister!
What a moron! This is the pillock who tipped Van Gerwen to beat the power in the world champs more so he made some other dire tips in 2008. Wereas i was the one who tipped the power to win 5 majors tournaments when he hadn't won any for 18 months! Think Davey is the one who lacks knowledge personally.
Adams tournament average for Lakeside was 92.5. Sorry but that isn't going to compete against the top 32 PDC players.

| Adams averages in the BDO tournament.
92.5
91.5
92.1
94.5
Adams couldn't get his average above 95 all tournament. I'm pretty sure also when he won his world title his average was below 95. That won't cut it in the PDC and Lee your point of Adams being able to sustain a high three dart average E.G. Around the 100 mark is obviously a myth.

It is not all about the avarages though. People like Martin Adams IMO would not be able to cope with the more vocal crowds in the PDC. Ted Hankey is another, both decent darts players, but i serously doubt they would be able to compete on the PDC stages. Ted Hankey last year kicked off because 2 people near the front boo'ed him, for gods sake Peter Manley gets that by 1-2,000 people every TV tournement even on his throw. Adams and the likes of him still live in the 70's just the BBC with there awfull coverage.
Gary Anderson and Simon Whitlock however i feel could make the switch, they have proven in PDC orgonised tournement, Anderson has beaten Taylor on TV (almost certain it was in the IDL) and also reached the Grand Slam of darts semi finals in both there years and Whitlock reached the quater finals with a couple of good wins along the way. I am undecided on Scott Waites at the moment but i cant belive how much he has improved over the last year, i think he is one to watch

| Adams has played in the PDC before. He would cope, IMO. Hankey would need to adjust big style, I don't think he's good enough though, crowd or no crowd.

| The problem for the BDO players is the intensity of the play in the PDC - 95 is a minimum average and you need to be able to produce that on an off day if you are get into the last eight of most tournements.
But with a first prize of 95k for the BDO world champion surely a few guys who are struggling in the PDC could view a move in a positive way?
My prediction for this year:
Taylor will do a nine dart during the Premier League
Taylor will not win the next world championship
Barney will have a significantly better 2009 than he did in 2008
Manley to be outside the top 20 by December
Adrian Lewis/Wayne Mardell to be outside the top 16 by December
Anastasia to play in the 2010 premier league
Chris Mason to move to the BDO

The problem with the booing/chanting is that when thousands do it all at once then players can get used to it, it becomes the norm. Now, when there's total silence and one or two shout out as you're throwing, that's far more off-putting.
In saying that, if Hankey was to switch he'd need to go a lot further down the road he's taken in recent months. At present, he's nowhere near consistent enough to compete.
I'd hazard a guess that all of the top BDO guys, on there day, could give the PDC "stars" a game, it's just that they don't have to be on their game all the time to get good money in the BDO. Anderson's probably a prime example of this, world number 1, can beat Taylor, but frequently falls at an early hurdle in the world's, when the pressure's on.

| Hankey and Adams wouldn't have a major impact ala Barney. Players like Anderson and Webster if they did go to the PDC are still reasonably young and therefore could develop into solid top 10 players in the PDC.

I can't get over how thick you are. You don't understand the concept of a value bet do you? Very well done, tipping up the world number 1 to win everything
Only one making themselves look silly here is you sunshine.
When i tipped Taylor for all 5 majors he was at an all time low! Beaten in yet another major quarter final and hadn't won a major title for the best part of 18 months. I reckon i would of got very tasty odds at the time predicting that the power would win all these titles in the same season!

And you still don't understand the concept of a value bet, unsurprising.
