How's everyone feel the off-season is going for teams?
Packers did business as usual aside from the Peppers pick-up. Pretty uncharacteristic for us to sign a "big" free agent, but it apparently works out as a 1 year deal as we can cut him after the season for minimal cap hit. I'm not immediately a huge fan of his but we are apparently going to see him in the "elephant" role where he will be OLB/DE depending on formation.
Also apparently we will use Micah Hyde as a safety in the Charles Woodson mould from now on as Casey Haywood will be back from injury. We shouldn't get beat deep as much with our DB's all back healthy.
Draft wise - we don't have many needs so i'll take BPA - hopefully a defensive player as our offence is set.
So Jimmy G eh? Gutted we had to let him go but not really a choice was it? Although some pats fans would have you believe we should have kept him and let the G.O.A.T go. That lad is getting paid
